ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES IN DOMAIN:
•To develop overall project plan and construction schedule
•To mobilize resources manpower, equipment, materials in co-ordination with the project controller at Head Office
•To execute the project within the parameters of time, cost, profit, quality, HSE and productivity
•To monitor project progress, adherence to contract specifications and quality standards
•To identify opportunities for application of good / innovative engineering practices to enhance the quality of delivery
•To ensure proper systems implementation sub-contract system, information technology, quality, safety and environment
•To ensure and monitor statutory compliance
•To manage the client interface in terms of deliverables, grievances, issues etc,
•To build and maintain good working relationship with contractors, government agencies, vendors, consultants Will be solely and fully responsible for correct certification of bills and quantities
•To ensure smooth project closure activities to demobilize project resources and equipment on completion

Role : Operation & Maintenance
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES IN DOMAIN:
•Responsibility of attending maintenance of machine breakdowns of complete plant.
•Daily power generation analysis & manpower planning for shift.
•Daily inspections of all machineries carried out as per the check list of ISO standards.
•Executing & maintaining records like history cards, check lists of all equipments, material inward & outward records in the plant as per ISO standards.
•Good knowledge in handling of all tools.
•Conducting meetings with all staff about maintenance works, problems of the site.
•Preparation of documents for MOM of maintenance schedule & spares.
•Active participation in developing generation & consumption control plans.
•Conducting internal audits, verification of tools, spares & materials.
•Plan and achieve daily generation target.
•Complete involvement in upcoming new projects survey, erection and commissioning of the projects

Role : Erection, commissioning and O&M
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES IN DOMAIN:
•Fully involved in Erection, Commissioning, Operation & maintenance work of all generator equipment’s and gates.
•Coordination with erection, commissioning, O&M, Quality, Purchase departments, Local vendors, contractors to run the work smoothly.
•Ensuring that all the work is carried out on plant as per standards & safety.
•Studied drawings for fabrication, erection and sort out of problems if arise.
•Involved in checking the erection of embedded parts and mechanical equipments as per drawings.
•Testing of fabrication works like welding joints as per standards.
•Preparing protocols of alignment reading after erection and discussing with HOD for giving clearances to further activities.
MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES:
•Fully involved in maintenance work of all generator equipments, air/water & hydraulic lines, gates hoist mechanism, air duct system, etc.
•Replaced oil, water and shaft seals for Vertical Kaplan, Francis, & Pelton turbines.
•Oil pressure test for runner hub & control tube with hydraulic pump.
•Replaced the guide bearing pads, thrust pads as per clearance given by designer.
•Hydraulic oil filtration has been done for all units LGB, UGB, TGB, GLOP & OPU by using ELC & LVDH machines.
•Fully involved in replacement of stuffing box shaft sleeve, glands, etc.
•Solved guide vane blades clearances & rotary union alignment.
•Problems solved like bearings replacement, impellers machining of cooling water pumps.
•Problem rectifications like track alignment, rope, gear box & motors of E.O.T. crane (60/10Ton) capacity.
•Maintenance works done for all electrically operated vertical gates
