Review a contractor design & shop drawings, specifications, calculations submittals and other related to design change or proposal prior to RSG approval.
Responsible of design review to ensure the full compliance of LEED/Mostadam requirement, Fire & Life Safety (FLS) and Dark Sky guideline according to the RSG requirements.
Interact and communicate in design workshop for the Design & Build contractor with design department from RSG according to Employer requirement and Project specification.
Supervise and coordinates with all disciplines for proper execution of work at the site. Study and review construction schedule which include two weeks look ahead and materials status needed at site.
Monitor and supervise the work quality at the site with regards to WIR, MIR, SOR, NCR and MEP clearance prior to commencement of the work.
Evaluate the material submittal documents such as technical specifications, drawings, BOQ and compliance statement for Electrical and ICT system as well as the Pre-qualified vendors.
Participate in technical & coordination meeting with RSG and contractor related to design and construction issue and concern.
Leads and supervise all team members such as inspector, site & technical engineer to come up with the strategic plans, technical support on electrical engineering reviews and at the construction site.
Responsible for reviewing a Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) design for bidding purposes and other related for preparation of Request for Proposal (RFP) as a bid document.
Review and finalized the Issued for bidding (IFB) design drawing package prior to Bidding process for Contractor, Design Firm and Project Management Consultant.
Prepare a technical evaluation analysis report for the Pre-qualified contractor, Design Firm and Consultant.
Lead and Organize a design review workshop in the design proposal phase up to details design stage of all concerned parties.
Oversee design effort to ensure full compliance of the electrical design with the requirement specified on project design scope and on the relevant standard such as SEC, IEEE, IEC and NEC.
Close coordination of all parties such as End-user, Consultant and contractor in the Details design workshop.
Responsible for the design supervision of Electrical system prior to implementation at site such as Drawing layout plan, Electrical Calculation report (includes Load Calculation, Equipment sizing, Short-circuit, Voltage Drop, Grounding & Lightning, Arc Flash and etc.) and Design Basis Scoping Paper (DBSP).
Manage and coordinate the approval of vendors and materials to the End-User and Maintenance Department.
Act as a coordinator with the Consultant & Contractors between End-users for the issue to resolve the construction activities as per plan & Specification.
Testing and commissioning of all Electrical system prior to energization.
Supervise and manage the handover of all system within the Project scope to the End-User/Client.
Responsible for the design of electrical systems of street, roads, tunnel, building lighting & Traffic Signals designs including selection of lighting fixtures, exterior and interior lighting calculation of the illuminance level at any point of the rooms/roadway to determine the number of lighting fixture by using Dialux software.
Prepares design options of Underground Power Distribution System to optimize the Electrical system by determining the most reliable, flexible, most economical and environment friendly design Power Distribution System.
Design an underground HV, MV and LV power distribution system as per Saudi Electricity Company Standards and specifications including layout and single line diagrams.
Responsible for the Design of LV Electrical Systems for Power which include sizing of main feeder and sub-feeders; Sizing of main and branch circuit protective devices; sizing of electrical equipment’s like transformers and generators as per NFPA 70 (NEC).
Prepares design basis report and design drawings as per Royal Commission and SEC standards.
Prepares Saudi Electricity Company electrical submission package for approval including load calculations as per SEC DPS-01.
Produce a design and verify the drawings to ensure timely submission for NOC approvals from the Saudi Electric Company (SEC).
Prepares design drawings and load calculations for review & approval as per MARAFIQ requirements.
Prepares calculation reports for the Lighting, Feeder cable size, Voltage drop, Load Calculation, Short Circuit, Grounding, Cable pulling Tension and Lightning Protection & Risk Assessment with accordance of local & international standard such as ARAMCO, SEC, NEC, IEEE, IEC, IESNA and BS EN.
Perform engineering tasks which includes power system modeling, analysis and creating technical reports for load flow, short circuits, voltage drop, Arc Flash & Protection Coordination using engineering design tools like ETAP 18.1.
Preparing Quantity take-off and pay item description as per design scope of work.
Design an alternative solution for the conflict or clashed with the coordination to the other utilities such as Telecom, Storm Drainage, Sewer, Potable water as per SEC requirement.
Design a Low Voltage power distribution of pump and lift station for Industrial & Sanitary Waste Water, Potable Water, Irrigation and Storm Drainage and with the controls, sequence of operation for all motors with the coordination from Civil and Instrumentation Engineer.
Prepare a clashed report for the electrical coordination with the other utilities.
Preparing a redesign electrical work, calculation, document’s and report for implementing of Design Change Order.
Liaise with Approving Authorities such as SEC, MARAFIQ, & RC Clients, etc.
Supervise electrical design engineering works & managing in the design & drafting department.
Prepare & monitoring electrical shop drawings related to all system (power, lighting & low current).
Perform electrical design calculation of medium and low voltage power generation and distribution system.
Study and preparing electrical load calculation, cable sizing, motor control centers, motor starter, panel boards, lighting control system, emergency and standby system ( Generators and UPS ), main switchboard, distribution panel board, lighting & power panels, electrical chases.
Review & discuss with the supplier for preparation of the drawings such as BMS riser diagram, CO² sensor, Firefighting FM200 and all low voltage electrical panels.
Prepares equipment arrangement of substation & RMU, lighting fixture, panel board and MCC schedules.
Preparing materials take-off and bill of quantities as per design.
Study and analyze plans and single line diagram to prepare openings and sleeves required for electrical services.
Responsible for electrical site installation and aware of mechanical system for coordination and supervision between bus bar riser & MV, LV cable roughting against mechanical pipes.
Monitor and coordinate site work progress between subcontractors and other discipline.
Preparing a coordination drawing as per site condition with the cooperation of others discipline such as Mechanical, Architectural and Structural.
Prepares electrical shop drawing such as power and lighting layout, CCTV, public address system, fire alarm, data and telephone, access control, home automation layout, schematic diagrams and load schedule in accordance with the general conditions of client specifications.
Prepare the design of lighting system, fire alarm system, power system, including low voltage and medium voltage, telephone system, home automation system, earthing system, lighting protection system based on Architectural drawings after proper calculation.
Prepares cable routing for LV, MV and HV using cable tray, duct bank and trench.
Prepares detail for the installation and mounting of lighting fixtures, switches, panel boards, power outlet, water heater, utility boxes, cable trays and low current devices with standard mounting heights.
Perform design calculations for cable-sizing, lighting calculations, power balance studying.
Coordinate with Mechanical, Architectural and Structural to maintain standards as per contract drawing.
Maintain and updates drawing files as built especially roughing-in work which are embedded in slab for future reference of the owner / maintenance.
Perform site queries and coordinate with the site engineer regarding drawings to ensure that the plans and designs are met according to standard.
Compute loads for the provision of wire sizes & conduit as well as cable trays and over-current protective devices.
Review and evaluate transmittal and shop drawings prior to submission to the consultant and client with a required standard of the project.
Perform layout design, Construction Inspection with the site electrical engineer. Re-design the layout of tender drawing base on the specification, bill of quantities and code standard.
Provides 2D design & drafting & 3D modeling & rendering using AutoCAD.
Able to design residential and commercial building electrical works.
Prepare a designing and revising electrical plan & layout according to the tender drawing.
Drafting and editing shop drawing for electrical plan as per tender drawing.
