Being attached to the Wellawatte branch of Nations Trust Bank PLC, currently I am assigned as the Branch Assistant Manager. My responsibilities in the branch includes the following:
*Reinforce a cost culture across the Branch by monitoring and identifying the following cost lines to be well within the branch budget.
• Overtime
• Stationery
• Telephone and communication
• Electricity and water
• Travelling & Transport
• Cash Transport
*Contribution in providing the highest level of customer service, both internally & externally
• Consistently deliver unparalleled and unprecedented levels of convenience
• Ensure through effective communication/personal follow up of compliance and by in by all branch staff of the service strategy and policy/process.
• Ensure minimum service standards at branch by 100 % compliance to
Staff greeting at all times
Queue management without overcrowding at counters.
*Contribution to improve productivity, quality and speed of service
*Contribution in creating an environment of ongoing personnel and team learning / development
*Defines clear objectives in line with business strategy, Maintains an on-going performance dialogue with team, Inspires individuals to achieve high standards of performance whilst proactively supporting their personal development, Mentors/coaches others in the use of system and/or work methods.
*Able to communicate clearly and succinctly, Imparts accurate information in a timely manner.
*Abel to interpret and analyze data (numerical and non-numerical), Summarizes information effectively, Willing to take personal ownership of problems.
