• Registering guests and assigning rooms and accommodating special requests whenever possible. • Assisting in preregistration and blocking of rooms for reservations. • Thoroughly understand and adhering to proper credit check cashing and cash handling policies and procedures. • Understands room status and room status tracking , moving guest luggage and escorting guest to rooms • Coordinating room status updates with the housekeeping department giving update of all check outs, late checkouts, early check-ins, special requests and day use rooms. • Greeting guests and presenting the menu. • Informing guests about the special items for the day and menu changes if any. • Suggesting food and beverages to the guest and also trying to up selling. • Taking food and beverage orders from the guest on the order taking pads or on the handheld Point of sale (POS) system. • Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs and offering. • Serving desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils and refilling glasses.
