Currently filling the role as finance manager of a big group and manages the accounting, finance and reporting functions of the entire group which consists of companies engaged in manufacturing, facility management, property leasing, Trading, Used cooking oil processing, Waste handling & treatment, representation business etc. Reporting directly to the group CFO. The job involves various challenging key responsibilities and accountabilities but not limited to the few which are mentioned below.

Accounts & Finance

• Overseeing and managing a team of 17 accountants and assists them in day today accounting activities to ensure timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions.
• Ensure smooth monthly closing of accounts by all the related companies under the group.
• Finalization of accounts including preparation of consolidated Profit & Loss account.
• Preparing financial models as part of requesting facilities and loans from the banks.
• Responsible for all reports requested by the banks.
• Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Head the budgeting process and its implementation in the financial system.

Reporting & Audit

• Responsible for various reports issued to the management - Comparative Income statement, Statement of financial position, Cash flow statements, projected financials etc.
• MIS reports - ProjectWise profitability, consolidated reports, variance analysis reports, ratio analysis etc.
• Analyze and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments and future revenues.
• Laison with external auditors and ensure timely completion of audit.

People Management

• Directly supervise accounting staff
• Develop individuals to be motivated and take responsibility for their contributions to the team. Lead by example and delegate work effectively.
• Communicate effectively and manage successful working relationships with various stakeholders.
