Control the Corrosion in the Overhead line of the Crude Distillation Unit, Resid-Fluid Catalytic Cracking system, Amine Re-generators and the Boilers.
Control the condition of the steam producing systems such as Boilers, Incinerators, Steam Generators, Catalytic Coolers and other Heat Ex-changers in the Oil Refinery.
Monitor the Crude Distillation Unit and its production to improve the efficiency of the Outputs.
Material balance and inventory control of all the Chemicals used in the Crude Distillation Unit & Steam producing units.
Overview the condition of the Utility sector (Desalination & STP) for a steady process.
Prepared a detailed daily, Monthly and Yearly reports of all the above duties for optimization and .improving efficiency.
Technical evaluation of chemical and catalyst budgeting,
My responsibilities include,
1. CDU-Crude Distillation Units. (75, 000 bbl/ day)
2. VDU-Vacuum Distillation Unit. (25, 000 bbl/ day)
3. Process monitoring and optimization,
4. Technical assistance in modifications through PFD’s, P&ID’s,
5. Technical evaluation of chemical and catalyst, chemical and catalyst budgeting,
6. Blending of products for maximum and on specification products,
7. Material balance and inventory control of crude oils and products.
8. Rerating of all process equipment including separators, stabilizer columns, Boilers, exchangers, air coolers, water coolers, pumps and control valves/ hydraulics.
9. Quality Analysis using recognized petroleum test methods and regulatory protocols such as ASTM D86 & ISO 1998-1 to 4:1998.
10. Attended sales meeting regularly and liaisoned with customers in technical aspects.
11. Performed Start up and shut down of the Plant unit for Operation, maintenance and on emergency circumstances.
