5. Liasoning with the Banks for LC openings and Conversion of LC into TRs
6. Preparing various MIS reports which includes segment-wise/ Product-wise/ Brand-wise profitability status
7. Key role in implementing new ERP- SAGE 300
8. Ensure smooth flow of transition into new ERP
9. Monitoring Inventory Valuation
10. Ensure proper monthly Book closure procedures
11. Liasoning with Auditors for finalisation of BOA
12. Reconciling Inter-company Balances
13. Analysing AR Ageing and AP Ageing reports
14. Reveiwing Advertisement and Promotion expenses which is main direct cost next to material cost
Preparing and analyzing financial statements that meet applicable accounting principles and regulations
Conducting variance analysis of revenues and trade costs for each sales contract executed- budgeted vs actual profit analysis
Contributing in direct cost review and provisioning for the same
Ensuring monthly variance analysis of admin. expenses-budgeted vs actual expenses and reporting to Country Head of subsidiaries
Engaged in weekly/ monthly review of:
o Supplier ageing report and highlight critical areas that need special attention of Finance Controller
o Ageing of debtors for review of the same by traders, financial controllers and product financial controllers for necessary action
Monitoring inventory valuation
Liaising with Statutory Auditors to get the books of account audited
Creating:
o Consolidated profitability status of African subsidiaries and reporting to Product Financial Controller& MIS reports
o SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) and process documentation
