Client : - MOI Saudi Arabia and Main Contractor ABV GROUP
The project Consist of Medical Building -12 Storey Four blocks Each have (Basement, Podium and Tower)
which is belongs to Area 2 Cluster under SFMC, the scope of work is Supply and Installation of First and Second
fix items with Installation of final Fix include Testing and Commissioning of all MEPF Services where in net
worth of project is 400Million SAR.
Ongoing Roles and Responsibilities:
▪ Monitor drawing / material / work conformances with provisions as per specification and Scope
▪ Check the activities on site and provide the necessary reminders to the Project Director, Project Manager
and the Planning Engineer for any immediate action.
▪ Supervise the production of co-ordination drawings to ensure that all services are coordinated with each
other and the building structure is complying with the contract requirements.
▪ Ensure all builders works drawings are comprehensive and discussed with the various engineers for the
best implementation and installation of services in coordination with other parties and main contractor.
▪ Provide reminders, in advance, to the Project Director for any anticipated conflict that may happen in the
future with respect to the simultaneous activities of all MEPF trades and main contractors.
▪ Follow up the status of material and shop drawings and keep all parties informed of the status and follow
up the implementation of the Clients comments in timely manner.
▪ Distribute detailed information, documents and regulations as applicable to all concerned parties and
ensure their acknowledgement and adherence to its contents.
▪ Coordinate with main contractors, sub-contractors, MEPF coordinator, Engineers and Construction
Manager to obtain clearance before starting the work to ensure smooth and efficient execution of work.
▪ Provide Technical support and solve all Site technical issues to ensure completion of Projects within the
stipulated time.
Project : King Abdullah Financial District (Zone-1 Parcel 1.09, 1.10, 1.11, 1.14, 1.15)
The project Consist of 5 Building Towers which is belongs to ZONE 1 Cluster under KAFD,
the scope of work is Testing and Commissioning, Outstanding work and Dilapidation works of all MEP Services
where in net worth of project is 900Million SAR.
Ongoing Roles and Responsibilities:
Surveying and find out the condition of existing equipment’s and services
Ensure Retesting activities and prepare Documentation as per project quality and specification prior
to Commissioning.
Ensure the quality and approved material, raise the MIR prior to installation
Assist to submission of New method statements
Preparation ongoing O&M Manuals of all MEP Equipment’s and Services
Implement Project quality Plan and procedures actively at site.
Perform inspection of materials/ installations in coordination with site engineers and also arrange inspection and approvals by consultants.
Develop and maintain inspection procedures and techniques, throughout the construction.
Ensure usage of accurate and calibrated tools and meters for inspection and measurements.
Report on daily inspection and testing activities.
Initiate Non Conformance Reports in case of non-conformity to project quality plan/ the specification or procedural requirements are not met.
Maintain inspection and testing records.
Coordination with Consultant/ Contractors QC Engineer /MEP coordinators on all aspects of site inspections.
Conduct surveillance on the inspection tests required in the technical provisions of the specification.
Carry out the preparatory, initial and follow up inspections as per the approved ITP.
Perform and witness testing required at sub vendors premises/ approved independent testing laboratory as and when required.
Ensure that all concealed works are inspected and approval obtained, by Consultants before clearing to civil and finishes teams
Performing Plumbing materials receiving inspection such as PVC Pipe etc.
Performing HVAC materials receiving inspection such as Fire damper, Duct, VRF Units, ACU, etc
Monitoring Joint Visual Inspection of all received Mechanical, piping; Valves & Steel structure Materials with Client.
Conducting Inspection/verification and procured material at receiving site warehouse and for direct delivery at job site, this includes verification of material discrepancy against purchase order, material data sheet, marketing & identification and if any damages/shortage
Coordinate with construction and QC department for ongoing site activities
Identifying the material as per the standard drawings and specification
Inspection of Water pipe, Firewater Pipe, Structural Equipment, Insulation
Conduct building Inspection and overall installation of HVAC Equipment’s (e.g. Air-Cooled Air-Conditioning Units, Centrifugal Fans, Exhaust fans, Fan Coil Units, etc.) Ducts & Fire water Pipes, VRF Unit, Condensate Drain age System.
Inspection of Plumbing Above ground piping and in process
Inspection of, Firewater pipe, Firewater pump
Reviewing and Closing NCR of materials prior to assembly for scratches, damages, cracks, delimitation, crushing, weathering
Witnessing the assembly joining of PVC Pipes
Verify and ensure the calibration of instruments for Hydrostatic testing
Inspection of Firewater distribution Lines
Witnessing the pneumatic testing of installed Copper piping.
Inspection of the HVAC installation, start up, air balancing, pre-commissioning
Keep the original required Documentation of inspections in order to document the works providing
Test Package & Clearing of generated Punch List Items as well as leading and provide details to sub-contractor
Is responsible for conducting inspections at client/ vendor locations as per standards set by client.
Analyses and maps clients’ business requirements and objectives; develops necessary modifications in inspections to satisfy clients ‘needs.
Provides functional expertise, guidance, and technical help on product/ work to clients.
Acts as a liaison for troubleshooting: investigates, analyses, and presents key issues in his report.
Accurately maintains documentation of time and expense reports, along with additional administrative tasks.
Assists with preparation of training materials.
Provides mentoring/support to inexperienced colleagues.
Inspection of type of valves, their direction, tag numbers, rating and size.
QA/ QC Documentation
Checking and certification of contractor claimed bills
Preparation and submission of daily site inspection/activities report
Maintaining and filing the drawing for various disciplines such as Mechanical &Piping
Conducted material inspection to insure material installed comply with the required technical specification.
Final inspection of pipes as per client requirement (Visual and dimension checking)
Planning, co-ordination and implementation of Project quality /inspection and test plan (ITP).
• Review, interpretation of non-destructive test reports.
• Preparation and administration of Final Documentation Dossier for project
• Supervision of NDT Personnel’s during operation.
• Monitoring of procedures, personnel, tool/equipment to prevent accident and ensure that operations are performed in safe manner.
• Implementation of company’s HSE Policies
Performed and witnessed visual inspection on pressure vessel and pipeline
• Carry-out hardness testing on welds and heat affected zone
• Carried out visual welding inspection of welding of the flange in accordance to welding procedure specification (WPS).
• Assisted in preparation of weld inspection history sheets, summary report and anomaly reports.
• Carried out thickness measurements on pipelines (piping), pressure vessels in accordance to a work procedure

(Inspection of erosion, corrosion & mechanical repairs which occurred during service) After Opening equipment, conduct a pre clean inspection & record the findings for next turnaround • IRIS or EDDY CURRENT testing of Heat Exchanger for tube cracks. • Weld inspection of Strip Lining & Weld Build-up of Equipment Shell • Hydro test of pipes &Equipment.

Assisting the Project Engineer in the Project Work from the beginning stage till the submission.
Detailed study of scope of work, Specification, Equipment Schedule and BOQ (Tender) etc.
Preparation of Bill of Quantities and floating the enquiries to the venders.
Mobilization of manpower for execution of the project.
Preparation of Workshop Drawing and Material submittal for consultant approval.
Preparation of Daily & Weekly program based on one month look ahead program.
Preparation of Daily, Weekly and One Month progress report.
Preparation of the detailed Site quantities requirement based on the consultants approved drawings.
Preparation of Work Method Statement as per specification and standard norms.
Supervision of installation of HVAC, Mechanical Equipment’s as per standard norms.
Floating Request for Inspection of installations to Consultant and rectifying if any snag works / comments.
Floating request to consultant for material inspection as per submittals and specification.
Coordination with all other services like Architectural & Electrical, etc. towards successful completion of project.
Coordinating with Architect / Contractors during the execution of the project.
Attending the weekly site meeting with consultant and sub-contractors.
Preparation of appropriate documents for handing over the Project (Mechanical Services).
Attended maintenance activities as per the contract terms
