As a Senior Project manager (consulting and construction) / Client representative, I mange the over all project starting till handover. Leading the establishment of the over all success for the project, including time, cost, technical, quality and meeting the client expectation to the highest. While further focusing H&S issues, managing change control, Procurement, subcontract management, Project finance. I am the key point of contact to the client. Mange subordinate team such as QC, site engineer, supervisor, safety officer, document controller.

• In charge of the technical team consisting of over 100 members (internally and externally) covering an area of Dubai, Bangkok, Serbia, India & the Philippines.
• Review and manage the process of BIM/Revit and AutoCAD process of the team.
• Monitor all technical documentation packages issued to comply with contract provisions, project costs, and specifications and resolve day-to-day engineering issues.
• Review and comment of Hard finishes, FF&E, and all other specifications and finishes before issuance of each project.
• Sourcing of various special materials to be used in the project.
• Collaborate with the design team for the overall success of the project.
• Engage in post-contract of the design phase to execute the projects, providing drawing approval, sample review, and approval, mock-up inspection, site inspection, and factory visits UAE, and externally.
• Key contact person for appointed post-contract and technical design projects.
• Provide advice on appointing necessary sub-contractors during the tender stage.
• Provide expert analysis on technical and cost FF&E & other specifications on value engineering.
• Provide onsite technical review and advice in fit-out related to Interior projects.
• Take the lead on technical meetings as necessary.
• Train and mentor design and technical staff members.
• Resource management for concurrently running projects.

• Manage all aspects of project schedule valued over 33Mn USD annually. Perform oversight of all FF&E activities from design conceptualisation, vendor selection, periodic monitoring of onsite work, testing and commissioning, procurement, implementation and inspections & evaluations
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, act as key contact person and first point of call for all internal departments and third party business owners. Play an integral role handing over to hospitality team following desnagging
• Formulate detailed procedures, SOPs, work flow guidelines and specification documents that support budget & schedule preperation and ensure seamless on-site implementation. Negotiate changes in designs or work orders and propose appropriate solutions to senior management
• Review construction documents including workshop drawings and specifications, vendor contracts, and FF&E specifications for consistency and compliance with design and construction standards
• Organise all procurement activities including specification reviews, strategy formulation, critical path assesment & logistics planning.
• Conduct factory visits, inspect & evaluate potential subcontractors and make quality assessments/approvals
• Monitor all onsite activities including designs and layouts for conformance with contract provisions and project costs and specifications, and resolve day-to-day engineering issues
• Meet regularly with Senior VP to review synergies with project commissioning team, project status, prioritize reviews, evaluate designs and concur on design direction to ensure all projects are on schedule and meet highest quality standards
• Supervise testing and commission of FF&E works, ensure compliance of all FF&E activities with quality and HSE requirements, prepare project quality audits and oversee review and approval process for projects

• Spearheaded implementation of standardized methodologies and procedures across all projects, improving quality of interior design work standards, consistency and client satisfaction ratings

• Managed team of 6 design coordinators, 27 Draftsmen & 1 office assistant. Oversee all aspects of project management including design conceptualisation and planning, work shop drawings, procurement, site/subcontractor supervision, manpower distribution, budgeting and material/LC inspections
• Played key role in production coordination. Conducted site visits, prepared RFI, CVI, SWI documents, provided on site round-the-clock technical support, prepared detailed cutting lists including specifications and material selections required for construction and monitored dispatch
• Coordinated all procurement processes including review & selection of materials. Negotiated with suppliers to meet project objectives, costs and schedule, and arranged material samples & submissions as well as requisitions including ironmongery, veneers, glass and metal elements
• Conducted quality inspections of in-house and subcontractor works including in-depth survey of luxury yachts, 3D Leica machines, Ironmongeries and Fire Rated doors
• Acted as key contact person for senior management. Reviewed design intent drawings and prepared project shop drawing plans. Required to attend all technical meetings and prepare detailed reports to update management team on progress
• Tracked daily performance of draftsmen, prepared work schedules and manpower distribution. Assisted in HR matters including training of draftsmen, arrangement of team building activities and managed staff leave, performance reviews & disciplinary matters

• Provided specialized knowledge of Luxury Yacht interior fit outs allowing organization to meet international standards and significantly improve client satisfaction rates
• Implemented systems and procedures which enabled the organization to obtain international ratings and attract new clients
• Identified variation works required on existing contracts due to process changes, and submitted recommendations to commercial department which were successfully approved
