At AVE, I have a multidisciplinary role that revolves around providing costumer service support to our worthy distributors and system integrator particularly in United Arab Emirates.
-Lighting Control System Installation, Testing and commissioning.
-Home/Office Automation system Installation, Testing and commissioning.
-Guest Room Management System Installation, Testing and Commissioning.
-ELV Systems Installation, Testing and Commissioning.
-Preparation of KPI’s, O&M manuals, D.B Addressing Schedules
-Submitting required documentation, drawings, schematics and compliance statements.
-Submitting Approval and Inspection Requests to consultant and MEP contractor office.
-Attending Municipality Inspection along with MEP contractor and consultant.
-Troubleshooting of installed products.
-Calibration and programming of sensors, GRMS and Home automation systems.
-Doing energy saving calculations, off-site prototype testing, mock-ups.
-Down stream Life Cycle Costing Analysis
- Promotion and marketing of AVE products (Wiring Accessories/Home Automation/GRMS).
- Building new relations with consultants, contractors and Interior Designers.
- Generating inquiries by constantly following up with lead contacts.
- Pricing inquiries, submitting offers, submitting samples, getting approvals, arranging P.Is,
checking stock availability and ensuring timely delivery of materials
-Responsible for all design and build package duties (e.g. reviewing the design and specification, preparation of shop drawings, materials submittals) for the following systems:
1-CCTV
2-Intercom
3-Access Control Systems/Gate Barriers
4-Lighting control, Shutter/Curtain Control
5-Sound system Control
6- Room Management System (RMS)
7-Home Automation
-Lighting fixtures selection, DIALux calculations, Compliance statements preparations, Technical submittals.
-Lighting control systems (AVE, Legrand) designing and commissioning.
• Gives recommendations and suggestions for other possible ways to improve the efficiency of the design in terms of performance, cost and sustainability.
• Maintaining project schedules by monitoring project progress at site.
• Negotiate details with site engineers and supervise projects of Home Automation. Resolving all site related technical issues.
• Sending inquiries and finalizing offers with third party suppliers to get the best material at lowest cost.
• Communicate and coordinate project activities with project engineer, company management and others as needed.
• Direct technicians about all technical matters and lead them to work as a team.
• Advise contractor during construction phase for conduits, cable pullings and other Electrical (ELV Systems) issues.
• Extensive knowledge of selection of lighting fixtures, wiring accessories, Dialux calculations
Projects :
• Installation of Lighting and AC Control system in a Private Villa in Al-Ain.
• Installation of Curtain Control System in Private Villa in Zabeel, Dubai.
• Installation of Lighting and AC Control system integrated with Touch Screen in Private Villa in Dubai.
• Installation of Lighting Control System in Sheikh Al-Nakhiyaan Palace, Abu-Dhabi (on going).
• Installation of complete home automation system in private villa in Nadd Al Shiba, Dubai (on going).
Studied basic design components, structure and role of gas and air
insulated 220KV and 500KV grid stations in transmission of EHV.
Inspected the different breakers and bus bar schemes in 220KV and
500KV grid stations.
Engineered the role and importance of Instrument Transformers (Voltage &
Current) in grid.
Examined the role of Battery Room, Capacitor Bank, Line Isolators, C.Bs
and Lighting arrestors in different layers of protections.
Observed the effective grounding system and Telecommunication system
at grid.
