• Lead cost improvement projects in coordination with R&D, business and the other stakeholders in Nestle HQ and in local Nestle markets

• Managed end to end sourcing strategies for the dairy categories to ensure improved gross margins and sustainable supplies
• Managed the procurement of raw material categories including dairy, juices & oils worth USD 120 Mio
• Drove the milk powders strategy for Nestle Pakistan with saving over USD 10 Mio in 2015-2016, working closely with the global dairy team at Nestle Headquarters (Switzerland)
• Implemented various strategic sourcing initiatives to minimize cost of procurement and build lean and agile value chain, bringing more than USD 5 Mio saving in 2015
• Lead specification improvement initiative for Nestle juices, reducing the warehousing cost by 3 times
• Implemented VMI (vendor managed inventory) to reduce the warehousing cost for materials
• Developed alternate suppliers for single-sourced materials for the risk mitigation and cost optimization while ensuring the best sourcing regions across the world especially for dairy category
• Conducted Responsible Sourcing/Ethical trade audits for the major suppliers and shifted major palm oil volumes to traceable sources to comply with the best practices globally
• Worked closely with Quality Assurance department to ensure the compliance of new suppliers with Nestlé’s food safety & quality standards
• Lead the innovation and renovation projects for juices business, for the new product development and end to end sourcing execution
• Worked as a part of the Focused Improvement team for Supply Chain, enabled problem solving activities in the function and enhanced team competence for the use of tools to identify, prioritize and solve problems
• Worked in the team and made Nestle Pakistan one of the leading markets to implement online price forecasting tool, with the implementing of FPPL (Future Purchase Price Variance)
• Managed the procurement of Services & Indirect Materials including electrical, electronics, automation & fuel spend categories (Oct '13 to June '14)
• Worked as an audit champion in procurement function to ensure compliance and prepare for the Nestle Group Audit
