• Development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.
• Preparation and maintaining the employee handbook.
• Responsible for new hire program - includes arranging visas, flight ticket bookings, accommodation arrangement, issuance of medical cards and opening bank accounts.
• Administration of compensation program and monitoring performance evaluation program.
• Responsible for centralized payroll administration, employee’s settlements, salary related issues and employees grievance management.
• Conducting recruitment of personnel and leading the new hire induction program.
• Employee relations counselling and responsible for exit interviews.
• Conducting exit formalities as per the guidelines provided by the immigration department.
Handling the HR activities of entire South covering areas of Mangalore, Udupi, Kundapur, Karwar, Shimoga, Chikmagalur, Hassan etc. Total Manpower strength of 1, 500 employees in Executive level, Officer, Manager, Asst Manager, Senior Manager, Technician and Mechanics.
1. Recruitment: Recruitment of sales /services /spare department of Mangalore & other branches. Obtaining the manpower requisition from the Branch Manager and get it approved by the Head HR before recruitment. Manpower planning, Screening & shortlisting the candidates & finalizing the suitable candidates with the different branch heads.
2. Induction: Educating the employees about the systems and procedures followed by the Company for attendance, monitoring and benefits as per eligibility.
3. Grievance handling: Helping hand in solving issues of the employees like attendance, leaves &Salary issues etc.
4. Training: Arranged (Soft skill/ Technical) training programs for the branch employees.
5. Maintaining personal file -Maintaining discipline, punctuality, time keeping and housekeeping in the branches.
6. Employee Engagement: Taking an initiative in Employment engagement activities.
7. CSR Activities: Conducting CSR activities like orphanage / Old age visits, Vanamahostava etc.
8. Other function :
• Planning, coordinating and attending campus recruitments / job fairs.
• Introducing the candidate to concern Manager and sharing the Job responsibility.
• Preparing offer letter for the selected candidates.
• Preparing MIS reports like recruitment report, attrition report, updating the fuel details given to the employees.
• Drafting letters such as appointment, confirmation, experience, relieving, warning letters, circular and birthday greetings for the employees.
• Maintaining and filing of leave application
• Complete the Joining formalities such as PF/ESIC/Gratuity Forms/Bank Forms etc.
• Assisting the Payroll department during the time of salary.
• Taking care of exit interview, Full and Final settlements of employees when leaving the organization.
