Responsibilities:
Order new materials according to production plan and maintain min/max against each item.
Lead and join team of five members to run day to day operations of Warehouse.
Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts.
Ensure timely issuing of stock to respective departments.
Ensure FIFO & LIFO usage
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports on inventory.
Keep eye on stagnant stock and report to management on timely basis.
Respond to queries from finance, auditors & purchasing.
Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records.
Report rejected, expired quantities in stock to management.
Work on arrangement & stacking of stocks.
Planning, coordinating and monitoring the receipt of raw and packing materials, then arranging their storage in designed places.
Playing role in MRP (materials requirement planning) team for planning of materials.
Arranging delivery of materials to production plants on daily bases.
Planning min/max reports and communicating them to all concerns.
Keeping strong eye on all inventories to make them as per min/max plan, Maintain inventory at optimum level to prevent under or over investment in inventory.
Create Purchase Requests for stock reimbursement
Monthly closing of inventory, checking monthly issuing of raw / packing materials and spare parts. Compiling a report and submitting to finance.
Checking physical stock of materials and spares with system on quarterly bases.
Provide accurate, current inventory data for purchasing decisions.
Provide periodic reports to higher management to ensure critical areas of stock are monitored & controlled and any abnormality is addressed & resolved.
Having a clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how the store contributes to these, coordinating the use of automated and computerized systems where utilized.
