Business Analyst for Chart of Accounts and Operational Accounting Schema Three broad work streams of the project; chart of accounts exception remediation, accounting schema library & preparing memo documents for new business & trade activities Gathering information from multiple sources & critically evaluating it, reconciling conflicts, disseminating high-level information into details and distinguishing user requests from their true needs, with regards to account set up and drafting/maintenance of accounting schemas Establishing the technical vision & analyzing tradeoffs between usability & performance needs by teaming up with developers & subject matter experts Scope of work is broadly into the aspect of “Change the bank” and “Run the bank” Provide solutions and/or consult business on the associated requirement Documenting the entire work flow & the actions taken along with necessary signoff
Product Controller for European Credit Trading Flow business; covering Bonds, Repos & CDS Validation of daily & new transaction P&L of desks within predetermined SLAs - book running as well as supervisory Interacting with Traders, middle office and business managers for timely sign-off, escalation and/or remediation of issues in the P&L figures Attribution of P&L basis the P&L Greeks, having little/no unexplained P&L being published to Traders Allocation of various agency fees to books/desks Providing commentaries to Market Risk/Valuations teams, when queried on unusual P&L/spread movements Identifying market news/trends driving daily P&L for the desk/business Remediation of Cash breaks, if any Projects : Involved in Ideation, testing & execution of global projects like Frankfurt Legal Entity Migration as a result of Brexit - wherein books/position are being transferred from London
to a new legal entity based out of Frankfurt
P&L valuation and reporting platform migration for Swap and Swaption products from legacy system to a
strategic platform called dBPalace

Intra-month and month end reconciliations ensuring company general ledger balances are in agreement with
product system balances (Sub-Ledger). Research, escalation & clearances of differences in timely manner
Executing and/or reviewing daily/monthly reconciliations
Certification of balances in General Ledger on monthly basis, with regards to its validity & genuineness
Allocation/apportionment of cost of funding, EuroClear bond borrowing & lending fees, Collateral Usage Fees
from a general purpose Cost Center to valid Business Cost Centers
Prevention & Clearances of Inter-Entity discrepancies with regards to Balance Sheet & Revenue
SOX facilitator & other Audit related activities
Led a team of two in Fixed Income accounting process
Projects : I have been involved in Ideation, testing & executing both self-initiated & global projects like
Amending accounting schema for withholding tax settlements for Fixed Income in Singapore Entity which had
an inherent systemic limitation since the inception
Corrected the set-up for Nostros settlement for OECD & Non-OECD currencies in the product system for Fixed
Income, resulting in appropriate reporting & disclosure
Played a pivotal role in enhancing the data integrity controls in balances against various counterparties in
General Ledger in Asia region
Designing & building COFe (cost of funding engine) process, this was eventually handed over to the business FC,
since the process was being done by the team without much clarity in scope & ownership
Rationalized the coupon settlements in Asia region bringing it in line with EMEA region, benefitting various
teams
Involved in GLS Merit/Oracle to SAP migration project from Accounts mapping, conversion reference data,
Business Unit/Cost center setup & override related deliberations
Bloomberg Equities
Analyzing & extracting financial data (Earnings Estimate) from annual, semi-annual, quarterly broker reports of
a particular company or industry as the case maybe.
Publishing the same on Bloomberg Terminal with accuracy.
