• Lead Safety Engineer for Shwe Phase 3 Project of Myanmar Posco-Daewoo, FEED and Detailed Engineering for the installation of a LP Gas Compression platform with MEG Reclamation.
• Team of 5 Safety Engineers involved in greenfield development of the Saudi Aramco - Marjan Crude Increment Project to increase oil production of 300, 000bopd involving several Gas and Oil Platform.
• Undertaking FEED and Detailed Engineering activities involving deliverables such as Fire & Gas detection, Life Saving & Fire Fighting Equipment layout planning, Firewater and Deluge planning, Hazardous Area Classification, preparing PFP schedules, Fire Zoning, Dropped Object Studies, FERA, QRA, EERA, ESSA, Gas dispersion, Blast Overpressure and various other Formal Safety Assessments.

• Prepared and maintained the Major Risk Register and continuously engaged team members on awareness of risks and need for undertaking mitigation actions timely
• Managed the MAESTRO (HSEMS) audit and actions close out of all elements with respective champions. Facilitator for Element 1: “Management, leadership, Communication & Engagement”.
• Manage routine operations safety and campaign for field shut down and drilling stimulation and intervention campaigns for offshore field (H2S 2% / 20, 000ppm)
• HSE Auditor for TOTAL UAE 5 yearly assurance program for shareholding stakes in ADNOC Group Companies. Audited Technical Safety apsect of HSEMS for ADNOC Gas Processing assets (AGP).
• Managing affiliate and country level Emergency Response Planning, Crisis and Business Continuting for Total operations, offices and personnel. Set up and trained ER reaction cell members.

• Technical Safety / Loss Prevention lead for the Brunei Affiliate’s Assets (Onshore Gas Processing Plant, MLJ 1, 2 & 3 Wellhead platforms & Gas production plant debottlenecking project (>USD 0.6B CAPEX/OPEX)

Authored the (Safety Critical Equipment, Procedure and People) SCEPP procedure for the affiliate. Reviewed SCE dossier for MLS project. Supported IVB activities by HQ and the Energy Department of Brunei.
• Undertook Drilling HSE activities such as Technological Risk Assessment (TRA) for Drilling & Wells activities. Produced the MOPO for Drilling campaign. Conducted qualitative SIMOPS reviews between Production and Projects as well as Production and Drilling. Established the COMOPS Safety Case for Drilling Campaign with the Drilling contractor.
• Successfully lead the TOTAL affiliate’s Safety Case through development and certification by the Energy Dept.for Bruneian COMAH regulatory compliance. First onshore and offshore facilities to succesfully achieve COMAH compliance in the country.
• Prepared and maintained the Major Risk Register and continuously engaged team members on awareness of risks and need for undertaking mitigation actions timely
• Conducted ISO14001 & OSHAS 18001 as well as 3rd party external audits and report to management as required. Also lead Cause Tree Analysis incident investigation and Hi-Po near misses as required.
• Succesfully lead Major Emergency Exercise and the Integrated Emergency Response for Industrial Park (consisting of TOTAL Onshore Gas Plant, SHELL Brunei LNG plant and Brunei Methanol plant). Emergency Preparedness Technical Advisor for the IER committee in Lumut- Liang Industrial Park.

Offshore SHE Lead
Manager and directly supervised a team of 20 offshore platform and vessel advisors, 2 SHE coordinators, 3 Project Safety Advisors (PSA).
Responsible for the Offshore Execution of the entire complex construction, installation & commissioning involving floatover installation of Tapis-R EOR Central Production Platform, Tapis Q oil platform and 3 Wellhead Gas Platform (Telok A, B & Damar) as well as Brownfield rejuvenation of several existing platforms > USD1B CAPEX)
Lead all Risk Assessment & Loss Prevention studies such as Hazard Identification (HAZID), SIMOPS reviews, ALARP Analysis, Dropped Object studies including Offshore Emergency Preparedness.
Conducted various audits such as Operations Integrity Mgmt. System (OIMS) audits, Barge and Vessel audits as well as 3rd party external audits and report to management as required. Conducted ‘Cold Eyes’ reviews for offshore during Vessel pre-mobilisation and management visits.
Lead Taproot incident investigation in the project and Hi-Po near miss investigation.
Supervising all SHE programs & compliance for 3 DPDSV (BE 803, Kruez Installer, Toisa Palladin) on diving activities; 2 Heavy Lift Barge (LTS 3000, DB 101) for all 3 topside, 4 jackets and 2 bridge installation; 2 AWB (Saujana 7, Setia Station 2) for accommodation; Float-over vessel (Black Marlin) and their respective spread vessels (AHTS, FCB).
Constantly engaged & audited all offshore contractors including TLO, Dockwise, McDermott, Kreuz, Daya-OCI, Bourbon for Installation works, Duta Marine, Saujana, MMHE for Hook-up Commissioning, Alam Maritim, PJZ, Jasa Merin, Shapadu Engineering (SEEN) for Brownfield.
Responsible for setting up, supervising drills and case management for all offshore MEDEVAC and Emergency Response for the project. Providing guidance on incident management and directly involved with injured personnel care management.

Supported all HSE & Loss Prevention engineering activities for Gumusut, Malikai and Piltun South Project.
Lead the fabrication HSE activities the entire fabrication of Gumusut-Kakap (G-K) Deepwater FPS in Shipyard-MMHE. The G-K project value > USD 2B
Managed Technical HSE / LP studies such as Fire Risk, Explosion and Dispersion studies using FRED software. Facilitated several HAZID and HAZOP during FEED stages as per Shell Design and Engineering Practice / Guidelines.
Active involvement in Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRA) with EPCC contractor, Technip for Gumusut Kakap. Undertook development of Bow-Ties using Bow-Tie XP.
Supported the development of the Project Safety Case and ensuring compliance to SHELL DEP standards.
Supported Shell’s health management studies which comprised of Health Risk Assessment, Health Performance Monitoring, Health Impact Assessment, Human Factor Engineering, Local Health Facilities & Medical Emergency Response planning.
Supported regulatory compliance and auditing activities. Subsequent to this, also provided advisory for the project team in HSE related Malaysian Regulations (EQA, OSHA, FMA, etc.)
Instrumental in developing and implementing key HSE plan documents such as; Shell’s Host Construction HSE activity plan; HSE Interface/Bridging document with contractors. Also played key role in numerous procedures, PTW and Job Safety Analysis(JSA) development for the Shell team
Played key role in developing and conducting trainings like Hazard Identification, Scaffold Inspection, Office Ergonomics, Safety Inductions, Tool Box Talk, Advanced Safety Audit, etc.
Supported all Learning From Incidents (LFI) and disseminate information to workforce in a timely fashion.
Constantly maintained the hazard register for the Shell construction site team and perform Hazard Effect Management Process (HEMP) activities.
Championed several awareness campaigns i.e. Hands & Fingers injuries, Shell Safety day, Seat Belt Convincer as part of road transport initiative, Office Ergonomics, Welding and Cutting Safety, and etc. Supported Shell’s Global initiative in Life Saving Rules and rolled out to sub-contractors.
Supported Environmental, Social and Health Impact (ESHIA) study with Continental Shelf Associate Inc. (CSA) from US. The study looks at the 200km oil export pipeline installation and operations. Successfully completed this study and obtained approval from authorities to commence pipelay work.
Supported system wide Coarse HAZOP / HAZID activities from host/topsides to Oil & Gas Terminal en-route the pipeline. Scribed for several HAZOP activities for Gumusut-Kakap topsides engineering.
