(It is a consultancy organisation for the North South Railway project of Saudi Arabian Railway. This project consists of 2400Km
high speed railway line (both Freight and passenger transportation connecting places like Riyadh, Majmaah, Qassim, Hail,
Al Jouf, , Ras Al Khair Port, Al Haditha Phosphate Mines, Al Zabirah Bauxite mine etc), 6 passenger Stations, 50 sidings,
4 Intermodal Yards, Maintenance Yard, Centralised Operational Control Centre etc. Entire system is working on ETCS Level 2
(European Train Control System).)
Responsibilities include
1. Validation of Installation of various elements like Signalling and Telecommunication Equipment(ETCS Level2), Power supply systems,
Electro-mechanical Monitoring System and infrastructure for the S&T System with respect to the Technical Method of
Statement and ensure compliance to the Approved Designs and preparation of the installation validation report.
a. Installation of Indoor Signalling Equipment like Field Element Control (FEC), Axle Counter Evaluator, Input
output Cabinet, Control Cabinet, etc.
b. Installation of Outdoor Signalling equipment like Point Machine, Detection Point, Balise, Marker Board,
Field operating Panel, etc.
c. Installation of Rolling Stock Management System like, Tag Reader, Hot Box Detector/Hot Wheel Detector,
Dragging and Derailment Equipment Detector (DDED) and Rail Scale.
d. Installation of Electro-Mechanical Equipment like Solar Power System, Generator, Air conditioners,
UPS, Battery, Fire Fighting System, Access Control System and Monitoring System.
e. Installation of Telecom System like Core communication network, GSM(R), WiFi, OVC, AVC, OFC etc.
f. Installation of civil Infrastructures like, shelters, GSM Towers, and various foundations.
g. Installation of Passenger Station sub systems like Passenger Information System(PIS), Public Information
System(PIS), Surveillance system(CCTV), Digital clock ticketing system etc.
2. Testing of Subsystems of Signalling and Telecommunication System ETCS Level 2, and Electro-mechanical Subsystems
and preparation of Test report as per the approved test protocol.
a. System Acceptance Test (SAT) of Point Machine, Axle Counter System.
b. System Acceptance Test (SAT) of Hot Box Detector, DDED and Tag Reader of Rolling Stock Management System.
c. System Acceptance Test (SAT) of Solar Power System, Generator, UPS, Fire Fighting System, Access Control System.
d. System Acceptance Test (SAT) of Telecommunication systems- Core communication network, GSMR, OVC, AVC etc
e. Associated with Dynamic Testing of ETCS Level 2 Signalling System.
3. Associate with Factory Acceptance Tests like Interlocking Modules of different sidings as per the approved Interlocking Tables etc.
4. Design Review: Assisting in review of various Signalling documents. This includes
a. Detail Design Signalling Cable
b. Signalling Cable Way Layout of Sidings/Stations.
c. Detailed Design Signalling etc.
5. Guide and manage a team of Inspectors and Technicians in the inspection and testing processes
a. Up keeping of about 120 Diesel Generating Sets of different makes like Caterpillar, Perkins, Duets, Cummins Etc.
ranging from 35 to 1250 KVA by proper maintenance with optimum inventory.
b. Inventory management for the Generators.
c. Manage a maintenance crew of technicians, electricians fitters etc.
1. Coordinate the day to day activities of the workshop handling 300 plus equipment- Cranes (25 to 700 t), earth movers (loader,
Hydraulic excavators etc.), Air Compressors (100 to 400CFM), DG Sets (100 to 500KVA) Etc. of different makes.
2. Inventory management for the maintenance spares
3. Maintaining the maintenance schedules.
4. Conducting training and workshops for the Maintenance staff.
Responsibilities include
1. Providing technical guidance & drawings for the structural fabrication
2. Handling the communication with customer
1. Providing technical Service Support to the end users of Diesel engines of different applications like DG sets, Earth
moving Machineries, Drilling Rigs, Marine Barges Etc.
2. Repairing, maintenance, overhauling etc. of diesel engines of diff capacity ranging from 60 to 1600 hp as part of
the annual maintenance contract with the clients.
3. Manage the service crew consists of Engineers and Technicians.
1. Up keeping fleet of 50 + Mining Machineries like Dumpers, Dozers, Hydraulic Excavators, Air compressors,
DG sets, Shunting Locomotives etc. by carry out different Maintenances- preventive, predictive, break down etc.
2. Overhauling of Diesel Engines powering to the earth moving machineries
3. Inventory management of maintenance spares.
1. Providing technical Service support to the end user of Cummins Diesel Engines of different models N, NT, V, K,
B, C etc. of range 60 to 1600hp Powering to different applications like power generators, Earth Movers, Compressors,
Marine Barges etc.
2. Repairing, maintenance, overhauling etc. of diesel engines of different capacity ranging from 60 to 1600hp
as part of the annual maintenance contract with the clients
3. Interfacing of manufacturer with the client in issues like warranty, quality, customer’s feedback, improvisation etc.
