‐ Manages the setup of all design management systems and documents, ensures technical staff
are appointed and roles and responsibilities of each team member is well defined and reporting
lines and communications is established. Responsible for successful delivery of the project in
accordance with the scope of works from inception to final implementation including quality,
time, cost and technical alignment with client sectors and procedures.
‐ Manages the pre‐contract scope of consultancy services such as; design strategies, drawings, reports,
area schedules, authorities submission and approvals to ensure the deliverables match the company
visions and stakeholders requirement.
‐ Provides design update reports to the Senior Management team.
‐ Conduct and manage others to undertake value engineering of the developed design to ensure the total
cost effective designs.
‐ Assist in the development of benchmark standards and Guidelines in order to sustain quality and
innovation in the company design solution.
‐ Oversee the implementation of the design during the construction phase and to approve all materials,
samples, mock ups, shop drawings (as required) and other items (in accordance with the 'Review and
Approvals Procedure' document).
‐ Provides all necessary directions, observation reports and detailed sketches to consultants, contractors
and suppliers to ensure that the work at site follows the design intent and maintain the quality.
