־ The preparation of structural designs, supporting calculations, drawings including the design of foundation and concrete structures and focus on the steel structures and steel connections design of various projects like Calgary Yankee Valley Blvd Interchange Bridge, Calgary Centre Street Parkade and Calgary Target Forest Lawn.
־ Reviewing project drawings, specifications, vendor data, and shop drawings to provide proficient technical designs.
־ Co-ordinate work with other disciplines on projects.
־ Delegate work to and direct Designers and/or Drafters in the development of designs and assist Drafters in developing the structural design using AutoCAD.
־ Prepare site visit reports by interpreting findings to give clear recommendations and to clients.
- Direction of support staff to ensure business and site related inquiries are prepared or responded in a timely and scheduled manner as well as answer project inquiries.
־ Assist Estimators at tender stage for proposals.
־ Liaising and reporting to site project managers and coordinators, regarding, or making recommendations on possible alternatives.
־ Verify the contractor’s civil and structural works and methods, and ensure that the contractual demands (approved specifications and plans) as well as health and safety rules are respected according to good engineering practice. Report any anomalies and ensure that they are corrected.
־ Validate and note on site any changes made to works. Ensure that any changes are documented and appear on the plans as built.
־ Inspect civil/ structural works and draw up lists of anomalies for provisional acceptances. Ensure that quality control plans are applied.
- Ensure that contractors respect their quality plan, and that their quality records, including all the inspection and trial results, are adequately documented and recorded.
- Calculation of steel, concrete and wooden structures of residential, commercial, industrial buildings and infrastructure. For example, (Rochebeaucourt Bridge, 166 Authier Bridge, Eight-Plex in Iqaluit, Swimming pool in Chisassibi, Puvirnituq School and different engineering services in Raglan mine).
- Site supervision and preparing the technical reports (Air Inuit house’s Staff in Puvirnituq, Women’s Shelter in Saluit).
- Verification of shop drawings of steel and wooden structures.
- Good knowledge in finding solutions of rehabilitation of the structures (Jeunesse restaurant and Greece Bank in Montreal).
- Coordination structural drawings with architectural, mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Good knowledge of material take-off (Rochebeaucourt Bridge).
- Very good experience of AutoCAD design drawings in 2D and have knowledge in 3D.
- Managed and monitored of the construction works of 70, 000m² of different types of suspended ceilings, installing fire rated wooden and metal doors through six different subcontractors within schedule and budget including coordination with the different departments and suppliers.
- Quality checking of deliverables at each stage and final product of decoration & finishing works of the Conference Center and V.I.P. Restaurant including suspended ceiling, cladding panels and flooring works that included carpets & Parquet works.

- Managed the complete manufacturing process as Granite Specialist from reception of raw materials through to delivery of completed architectural items, including program and systems management as well as resources and organizing all activities.

Master of Engineering of Project Management is not completed because I had to move from Montreal to Fort MaMurray where I got hired by URS Washington Group International as a Field Civil Structural Engineer in one of the oil & gas project. Fort MaMurray is far from Montreal by about 5 hours flying.
