● Identify new suppliers through online research as well as attending exhibitions abroad.
● Visit premises of new suppliers to get a complete assessment on their size and their level of sophistication.
● Develop contact and maintain cooperative relationships with current suppliers by meeting up with them during business travels.
● Send samples of new product to the operating entities for testing and quality assurance in order to properly select new suppliers.
● Conduct negotiations on payment terms, prices, availability of stock and delivery terms with suppliers
● Analyze and monitor stock and sales levels on an ongoing basis and share it with the managing director to define quantities to order.

● Coordinate with the sales and marketing director to confirm shipping schedules for the orders
● Coordinate with the registration department on the product registration status.
● Prepare Po’s to be shared with the supplier in order to obtain the PI
● Review the PI’s as well as the sales contract with the head of department for approval.
● Confirm orders and monitor the documentation process.
● Negotiate with the supplier to compensate or replace the damaged/missing goods, if there are any damages or missing items.
