Plans, organizes, and manages the maintenance, operation, inspection, installation and repair of facilities as assigned in the Parks Maintenance Division; prepares work plans and schedules.
Supervises and manages safety training and work task procedures; assigns, supervises, trains, inspects and evaluates work of subordinate personnel; delegates field responsibilities and functions to subordinate staff.
Administers programs and processes and makes decisions in accordance with established rules and regulations, policies and procedures and guidelines; participates in the development of department/division rules, policies and procedures, goals and objectives, and priorities.
Maintains records and prepares reports of work activities; collects data to coordinate program activities with other Parks and Recreation Department programs; oversees and inspects work of private contractors.
Investigates complaints and recommends corrective actions; develops notification letters and other public information materials; serves as liaison to user groups, clubs and other departments.
Assists in the preparation of the department budget; prepares and submits budget for assigned division and program areas; monitors budget expenditures; prepares cost estimates for maintenance, repair, and program activities.
Evaluates equipment for purchase and assists in the development of specifications; orders materials and supplies; approves orders of materials and supplies by other staff associated with program area.
Conducts staff meetings with assigned staff; inspects work of assigned staff; conducts employee performance evaluations as required; recommends employee actions, including performance improvements, discipline and salary adjustments; manages and approves time sheets, including overtime.
Collects data such as work requests/job orders, inventory, equipment replacement, purchasing, fixed assets; reviews plans and specifications for input into computerized programs; prepares and submits data for B.M.P. (Best Management Practices) reports.
Performs the more complex or technical duties associated with program activities; operates all equipment associated with duties; keeps abreast of and maintains knowledge of latest technology and applications to the work.preparing budget analysis, cost projections and cost-benefit analyses; managing complex projects; operating required tools, vehicles and equipment in a safe manner; communicating clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing; training, evaluating and instructing staff; operating office equipment, including computers and associated software applications.

To check the work progress, so that it is done effectively as required by the client. Design changes for automatic irrigation and landscape as per the site and clients requirement.
Read, review and interpret shop drawing for irrigation and landscape to carry out the work in site. Responsible for carrying out the correspondence related to irrigation and landscape works from contractor to the client.
Review and follow the work orders issued by the clients to be implemented in the site. Maintain history/record of all the activities and irrigation and landscape activities carried on in the site.
Responsible for coordinating with the clients, contractors and sub contractors to ensure contractual obligations are finalized. Ensuring that the client’s requests are carried out in the site for the full satisfaction of the client by implementing the correct work objective and programme.
Effective completion of work in time as required by the client.
Duties include designing, managing and execution of landscape, irrigation works, drainage, agriculture, agricultural machinery and project management.
Possesses leadership and organization skills of delegating a multi-task project and team of supervisor, foreman and labors to produce a complete package of irrigation, landscape and related works.
Designing of landscape and Automatic irrigation system in different projects for Municipality.
Designing and installing of landscaping works for different parks, Vilas and also footballs ground.
Responsible for landscaping nursery and landscaping green house.
Determining the optimum soil mix for each species growth.
Checking plants nutrients deficiencies, Pest & Diseases and other abnormalities experience in landscaping maintenance activity.
Observation of pest population, disease damages and control measures are taken by recommending proper type of pesticides and fungicides.
