Job Responsibilities:
o Responsible for the review of Design & Build Contractor’s IFC drawings / documents, design
proposals, technical proposals, pre-qualifications, material submittals, method statements,
ITP’s, O&M Manuals etc.
o Review Shop drawing, As Built drawings, ensure that all drawings are in compliance with
project specification and local and international regulations & review mechanical
calculations.
o Responsible for the review of Contractor’s payment application in respect of approved
works and materials delivered on site.
o Responsible for the coordination with the Contractor and equipment vendors to select the
right proposals for the project, verify, check and approve prequalification’s. Attend the
factory visits, witness third party tests as directed by PM.
o Review Operations and Maintenance Manuals, as built drawings for completeness of
documents.
o Preparing NCR, SOR and SDR for Site activities/Material.
o Attending Material/ Work Completion & Test Inspections with Contractor representative and
Third Party, ensuring work is executed in compliance to approved drawings, project specs,
local and international authority.
o Ensure that all installations are complying with international and local codes and regulation,
check and ensure interfacing / integration of mechanical services is successfully done with
fire alarm, ensure that cause and effect matrix is followed for life safety mechanical
installations, ensure that all mechanical equipment’s are controlled by BMS and are
demonstrated on workstation software. Ensure that all fire life safety mechanical installations
are complying with QCDD regulations and ensure that all comments from QCDD (Civil
Defense) are compiled at the earliest.
o Preparing snag list and reviewing As-built drawings (ensuring Red Line markup drawings are
submitted during work inspection) prior to hand over to client.

Job Responsibilities:
o Inspecting all installations checks prior to pre-commissioning activities.
o Make pre and post commissioning checks for all mechanical installations.
o Preparation of Complete O&M Manual (Including Troubleshooting, Spare Parts List / Part
numbers, As-built drawings, Asset register etc.)
o Preparing Method Statements, Pre-commissioning & Testing Checklists.
o Preparing T&C Plan / Schedule, Skilled Manpower requirements, Preventive Maintenance
Plan and Training Schedule.
o Handling of all QA/QC documents like Third Party / FAT Certificates & Calibration Reports for
Testing Equipment’s.
o Developing commissioning plans, reports, pre-functional and functional test procedures.

Job Responsibilities:
o Reviewing of Tender Documents prior to Bidding / Tender Submission, Explaining the Scope of
Work & Specification to the Tender Department.
o Design/Calculation of Mechanical Utilities for Plumbing (Hydraulic), Water Pumps, Sprinkler
System, Fire Pumps, Air Conditioning & Chilled Water Pumps.
o Preparation of Inspection Test Plans, Method Statement including risk assessment, Checklist,
Welding Procedure Specification & Procedure Qualification Records.
o Preparation of Shop Drawings / As-Built Drawings in co-ordination with team of draughtsman.
o Coordinating with Suppliers for the preparation of Material Submittal.
o Monitor and control all installation work for Fire Fighting, HVAC, plumbing & Drainage.
Manage day-to-day work in coordination with MEP and Civil Sub-contractors.
o Ensure/Monitor that all the site installation works are being inspected and approved as out
lined in our PQP (Project Quality Plan) in coordination with QA/QC Inspectors at site.
o Coordinate, track and prioritized the civil clearance Ensure that the Mechanical services are
installed beforehand so that Clearances are approved in advance.
o Cross Examining of Installed Items to verify they are installed as per Approved Shop Drawings
& Methodology.
o Raising Inspection for Delivered / Installed material on site, In Co-ordination with Consultant &
Site Engineer.
o Keeping track & maintaining Log of Inspection reports, shop drawing, material submittal, nonconformance
report, site observation report (SOR), corrective action report (CAR) and
method statement.
o Investigate and provide solution to any non-conformances issued by the consultant/client;
administer the preparation of report for closure of non-conformity.
o Attending progress meeting with client, Sub-Contractors and Consultant to provide update
on project progress.
o Prepare WPS and Conduct Welder Qualification Test as per ASME IX and AWS D1.1. (Firefighting
and Chilled Water Pipes)
o Coordinate all NDE and PMI Activities with Third Party Contractors.
o Handling of all QA/QC documents like Certificates, Calibration Reports, NDE Test Results, site
Inspection Reports & Non - Conformance Reports.
o Carrying out Internal Audits on site as scheduled in Project Quality Plan.
o Reporting all Quality related issues on Site to QA/QC Manager.
o Preparing & Conducting Testing & Commissioning packages for Fire Pump Room, Fire Hose
Reels, Fire Hydrants (Flow Test), A/C Package Units (Air Balancing), Ventilation Fans (Hot
Smoke Test), Suppression System (Integrity Test) in co-ordination with manufacturer’s / Third
Party.
o Well-versed with documents required for project close-out / handover to client.
o Well aware with Civil Defense Requirement for the documents required for project handover.

Job Responsibilities:
Painting Inspection:
o To review Project Specification, Painting Procedure, Inspection Test Plans, Method
Statement, Quality Plans etc.
o Witnessing and carrying out the checks accompanied with pre-application, e.g. Surface
preparation, climatic conditions, materials preparation, after application checks, marking
areas of defects and assurance of repair compliance and materials storing conditions…etc.
o Qualification of the Blasting Operators / Painters as per ASTM D4288.
o Keeping records and maintenance of all blasting / coating equipment on site, air
compressors, blast pots, airless & conventional spray pumps, electrical driven Blastrac
equipment etc.
o Experience for Inspection of FBE, 3LPE and 3LPP in Vendor Manufacturer Pipe and for
Pipeline Coating, Field Joint Coating, Heat shrink sleeve and Visco-Elastic Coating System
Wrapping for Underground.
o Conversant To Most of the International Codes Required Standard (BSI, ASTM, ISO, SSPC and
NACE).
o Witnessing of destructive tests on weld / paint specimens to assess conformity to
specification & standards at testing labs. (PMI test, Hardness, Tensile, Dolly Test etc.)
Welding Inspection:
o To review Project Specification, Welding Procedure, Inspection Test Plans, Method
Statement, Quality Plans etc.
o Checking joint fit-up & Monitoring and controlling welding consumables.
o Witnessing of Welder Qualification as per qualified WPS to API 1104, AWS D1.1, ASME IX and
BS EN 15614.
o Qualification & Acceptance of Thermite Welder’s to BS 14730 (2) & AWS D15.2 for Gantry &
Overhead Crane Rails.
o Storage & Material Inspection of delivered goods i.e. Flanges, Pipes (CS, SS & FRP), Gaskets,
Plates, Flow meter, Gauges, Welding Consumables etc.
o Perform Stage wise Inspection of fabrication as per approved ITP and GA drawings.
o Routine activities i.e., Weld production & fit up report, welding consumable report, NDT
request, RTFI assessment report, Weld map updating.
o Weekly reporting i.e., weekly welder repair, Welder’s performance evaluation, Field quality
report, Welding and NDT status of the project.
o Preparing the punch list items as per P & ID and Isometric such as, Pipe supports, Valves,
Guides, Shoe supports and NDT completion and approving/ releasing packages for Hydrotest.
o Witness of Hydro-test, Pneumatic test, Torque Test, Operational Test & Trial fit test for valves.

Job Responsibilities
o Reviewing tender BOQ, quantities take off, sending enquiries to the / subcontractors
vendors to get competitive quotations.
o Quantities take off for all Mechanical Utilities, Preparation of BOQ, Pricing and submission of
financial and technical offer.
o Participate in pre- tender meetings, site visits and preparing site visit report to analyze the
project scope of work.
o Preparing required bid documents, commercial and technical submittals.
o Prepare man hour calculations for various activities.
o Preparation of Inspection Test Plans, Method Statement including risk assessment, Checklist,
Welding Procedure Specification & Procedure Qualification Records.
o Cross Examining of Installed Items to verify they are installed as per Approved Shop Drawings
& Methodology.
o Coordinate all NDE and PMI Activities with Third Party Contractors.
o Handling of all QA/QC documents like Certificates, Calibration Reports, NDE Test Results, site
Inspection Reports & Non - Conformance Reports.
o Carrying out Internal Audits on site as scheduled in Project Quality Plan.
o Reporting all Quality related issues on Site to QA/QC Manager.
o Ensuring the quality requirements of construction & fabrication are met in accordance to
company procedure & international code of practice.

Job Responsibilities
o Material Receiving inspection of all Pipes and fittings, Gasket, valves, flanges, bolts & nuts in
compliance to material list, mill certificates, test reports and correct material specification.
o Collecting data and information on the surrounding area for possible corrosion factors.
o Conducting mechanical particle testing of exposed portions of the pipeline by mapping
and measurement of metal loss on the system.
o Visual inspections, reviewing electronic inspections Conducted by Non-Destructive
Technician using X-ray, ultrasonic, magnetic particle, or electronic crawler inspection
methods.
o Line flushing, air blowing; pressure testing, piping lay-up inspection, relief valve installation,
re-instatement and final inspection for mechanical completion.
o Witnessing, checking, monitoring and inspection of hydro-test pack.
o Writing documentation of the system and any repairs or assessments.
