Job Responsibilities:
o Responsible for the review of Design & Build Contractor’s IFC drawings / documents, design
proposals, technical proposals, pre-qualifications, material submittals, method statements,
ITP’s, O&M Manuals etc.
o Review Shop drawing, As Built drawings, ensure that all drawings are in compliance with
project specification and local and international regulations & review mechanical
calculations.
o Responsible for the review of Contractor’s payment application in respect of approved
works and materials delivered on site.
o Responsible for the coordination with the Contractor and equipment vendors to select the
right proposals for the project, verify, check and approve prequalification’s. Attend the
factory visits, witness third party tests as directed by PM.
o Review Operations and Maintenance Manuals, as built drawings for completeness of
documents.
o Preparing NCR, SOR and SDR for Site activities/Material.
o Attending Material/ Work Completion & Test Inspections with Contractor representative and
Third Party, ensuring work is executed in compliance to approved drawings, project specs,
local and international authority.
o Ensure that all installations are complying with international and local codes and regulation,
check and ensure interfacing / integration of mechanical services is successfully done with
fire alarm, ensure that cause and effect matrix is followed for life safety mechanical
installations, ensure that all mechanical equipment’s are controlled by BMS and are
demonstrated on workstation software. Ensure that all fire life safety mechanical installations
are complying with QCDD regulations and ensure that all comments from QCDD (Civil
Defense) are compiled at the earliest.
o Preparing snag list and reviewing As-built drawings (ensuring Red Line markup drawings are
submitted during work inspection) prior to hand over to client.
