I am responsible for Regulatory and Statutory reporting for the regulated entity.

Ensuring compliance with the FCA requirements on Capital, Liquidity, Stress Testing, Safeguarding Customer Funds, and Wind Down Planning.

Reporting to the CEO and Board of Directors of myPOS.

Successfully oversaw & completed the migrations of the EEA clients to the other group entity for Brexit.

Duties cover the full spectrum of finance operations, including budgeting and forecasting, preparation of management accounts, cash flow management, and auditing.

Liaising with departments across the business, supporting them in managing their budgets and financial planning.

Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.

Oversee financial department employees, including Financial Managers, assistants, treasury, and accountants

Contract outside services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs as necessary

Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement

Review and seek methods for minimizing financial risk to the company

Research and analyze financial reports and market trends

Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports

Produce & present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetings

Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes

Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company

Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.

In addition, I was business lead and project lead for a number of cross-functional projects, Partnering with the business including sales, strategy, operations, compliance and product development and cost saving projects.

I lead process and control improvements and simplification recommendations and initiatives across the business.

I monitored and analyzed our balance sheet for reporting to MFSA (Malta) and for presentation to the board and oversaw the reconciliation process across the business.

I managed the statutory and management reporting for the acquiring business.

I was one of a team of three reporting directly to the Group Finance Director and has a number of responsibilities around preparing the monthly management reporting pack, working capital management and financial controls.
