 Operation of different kind of R.M.U and circuit breaker in 6.6/11/33kv sub station
Which are in DEWA systems.
 Independently able to take shutdown and outage work for circuit conversion,
Modification and relocation of 33/11/6.6 kv systems.
 Under ground cable fault location and rectification jobs on 6.6kv, 11kv, 33kv,
Power cable And 33kv, pilot cable.
 Prelocation and pinpointing of underground cable fault by using the modern test equipment.
 Supervise the jointing group for jointing and termination works for cable fault rectification.
 Testing of newly laid 33/11/6.6 kV Power cables and 33 kV Pilot cables.
 132kv and 33 kV pilot cable Installations on Enclosures box and pilot cable panel.
 Glanding, Termination and check the phasing of 33kv, 132kv pilot cable.
 Identification, Route tracing, Insulation resistance test and continuity test of HV
power and pilot cable.
 High Voltage AC/DC Pressure Test and Pre-commissioning Test on cables,
Switch-gears and Bus-bars.
 Conversant with test methods of cables and switch-gear by using the modern
test equipment.
 Maintenance & repair of cables and cables test equipment /instrument and accessories.
 Attended the in-house training course on Basic electricity.
 Having best knowledge of opening/ Packing of 33kv Switchgear panels.
 Attended the safety training and can follow the safety rules and regulations before starting
The work.
 Maintaining daily office work such as safety record, Vehicle checklist, Maintenance record of
test equipment/instrument, and store related works.
Responsible for all kind of electrical and fire fighting works.
