• Manage and Supervise the logistics technicians and material planners
• Assist the Team Lead and the Logistics Manager in daily logistics tasks
• Providing aircraft spares planning and procurement strategies to the team
• Ensuring the stock levels are maintained as per consumption and customer requirements
• TBO, PLL and POL items are closely monitored for favourable stock at all times
• Periodic monitoring of all Class A items performed for procurement and planning
• Constant communication with USASAC to improve overall new FMS procurement and Repair lead and turn around time
• Experience in FMS Security Cooperation Information Portal (SCIP) and WebRoR used for FMS new procurement and Repair management
• Ensure the AOG requisitions are kept to minimum, achieved zero AOG requisition
• Coordinate with local suppliers for DCS repair and procurement
• Spares record/data maintained in system
• Various user queries resolved in timely manner
• Ability to work under minimal supervision from Team Lead and Logistics Manager
• Coordinate with QC for inspection of spares return after repair
• Communicate with various maintenance shops to improve procurement and repair process
• Hold crucial meetings with shops supervisors to resolve pending requisitions issues
• Provide vital feedback to Team Lead and Logistics Manager to enhance existing logistics procedure
• Providing strong leadership for the logistics functional units within the organisation, including managing logistical teams
• Developing and monitoring a system of controls, systems and procedures for efficient and strategic asset management
• Managing and monitoring stock inventory to maintain maximum levels, involving negotiating with suppliers for re-ordering
• Overseeing the safe storage of inventory in accordance with established company guidelines and external statutory legislation
• Consistently achieving operational excellence across procurement, supplier management, planning, support and materials
• Identifying any user queries relating to inventory management to provide effective solutions and continuous improvement
• Creating the economic order quantity (EOQ) scheduling model to minimise total holding costs and ordering costs
• Compiling and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure quality and consistency in the supply chain
• Updating the procurement tracking sheet daily and facilitating the availability of materials and favourable stock
• Creating a strategic channel for materials planning and control, including forecasting, scheduling and allocating stock
• Supervising operations, office management and completing related administration to contribute to achieving overall objectives
• Providing motivation to cross-functional personnel to achieve high performance levels, including annual staff appraisals
• Defining performance parameters for personnel, involving the creation and implementation of traditional KPIs and SOPs
• Supporting the recruitment and selection process in conjunction with the HR department to select talented employees for customer support
• Successfully implementing the company’s departmental policies and procedures as well as implementing continuous improvement
• Upskilling the workforce through the delivery of technical training programs and creating development opportunities
• Compiling and producing regular reports on overall performance, audits and health & safety for presentation to senior management
• Making recommendations at board level to improve methods, processes and procedures across all departments
• Managing and maintaining employee attendance records to identify any areas for improvement or disciplinary proceedings
• Providing a high level of 1st and 2nd line support to end users.
