1. Identify and explore opportunities where Mercy Corps’ activities can create private sector employment, within the time and resources of PCAP. This may include design, research, planning, negotiation, project definition, procurement, contracting and other preparatory activities; and follow-on activities in the private sector.
2. Lead the implementation of assigned program activities. Assure high-quality delivery, with a focus on employment results. Ensure that all activities are implemented on time, and in accordance with technical and budgetary requirements including compliance with MC and USAID requirements.
3. During program implementation, issue regular reports or other scheduled documentation, ensure that data is accurate and timely, and liaise with other MC departments as required by operations.
4. Conduct regular field visits to all work sites, coordinate with all partners, and seek feedback from all parties. Propose adjustments to activities, as indicated from observation and feedback.
5. In co-operation with the DM&E department, participate in relevant (external and internal) project evaluations and/or needs assessments.
6. Supervise, mentor and assist Program Co-ordinators for their professional growth, and for the results of Economic Development activities.
7. Conduct yourself both professionally and personally in such a manner as to bring credit to MC and enhance its humanitarian mission.
8. Contribute to the professional development and other activities of the Economic Development team, bringing experience into discussions, plans and programming.
9. Other duties as assigned. Occasional work beyond office hours may be required, without additional compensation.
• Provide support to the House of Wisdom's staff in preparing their respective quarterly action plans/budget forecast and their monthly and quarterly reports.
• Put in order a practical capacity building strategy for each targeted group with consideration and mapping of existing trainings.
• Develop and prepare training materials and handbooks or support trainers or other key actors to do so and insure their distribution and use.
• Write the workshops and training plan and keep all House of Wisdom's partners and other relevant stakeholders informed.
• Prepare Projects and trainings proposals.
• Direct supervision of over 120 youth members in implementing community service activities, blogging on GCC website and making short movies.
• Support in the management of the GCC's 1200 members activities.
• Assist the Program Coordinator in getting prices from market and preparing PRs.
• Maintain up-to-date database of the youth group members and activities.
• Plan and implement community service activities.
• Assist in GCC's main events like youth summit, photo exhibition and video contest.
• Attend youth trainings and evaluate their impact.
• Hold youth groups' meetings and activities.
Graduated with 81.89% from the first class of Business Administration (in English) and completed my Bachelor Degree in 3 years only instead of 4, in which I had the chance to get an internship at Bank of Palestine the biggest bank in Palestine.
