Lead Planner/Scheduler at FAST Consortium for the Riyadh Metro Project - Package 3

• Tasked to prepare an EPC work schedule loaded with Resources. The client is expecting from FAST consortium to satisfy minimum requirements as per contract. Project management and scheduling tools used is Primavera P6 (Versions from releases 7, 8.1 and 8.3).
• Have to work with the team of Schedulers headed by a Scheduling Manager and in close coordination with the PMO.
• Has to be involved with the in-house workshops concerning cost and schedule.
• Has to coordinate with the Line and Area Manager’s and Engineers as well as with the rest of the directly involved team members.
• Prepares the master schedule for Line 5 TBM works. Line 5 is the construction of approximately 13 km of distance underground railway with depth ranging from 14m, 24m and 35m, hence the use of TBM and/or NATM is considered during tender. It has one (1) interface station with Line-1 (by others) and eleven (11) underground train stations. It has also one (1) depot to develop around 50, 000 m2 underground facility of depth around 14 meters. Total project duration is 60 months. Project management and scheduling tools used is Primavera P6 (Versions from releases 7, 8.1 and 8.3).
• Had helped in the establishment of detailed procurement schedule according to standard processes in dealing with local as well as with imported materials and other resource requirements particularly those considered long lead items. Also involve in establishing detailed design schedule. Project management and scheduling tools used is Primavera P6 (Versions from releases 7, 8.1 and 8.3).
• Handles Line 4 scheduling works particularly the establishment of baseline and eventually the detailed working schedule. Line 4 is approximately 29 km of railway distance composed of 17 km of elevated viaducts, 5.8 km of cut and cover tunnel and more than 6 km at grade railway. Major methods and equipment to be used are Full Span Launching Method (FSLM), Precast Segment Method (PSM), Balance Cantilever Method (BCM), Cast In-Situ (CIS) and conventional construction process, hence resource allocations is one important challenge in the process of preparing the schedule in order to maximize the resource assignments. It has one (1) interface station, eight (8) railway stations, one (1) is a transfer station with Line-6 and initial plan shows around four (4) underground stations. Project management and scheduling tools used is Primavera P6 (Versions from releases 7, 8.1 and 8.3).
• Helped Line 6 in the refinement of baseline schedule, updating and in incorporating change notices to the recent updates at month 13. Line 6 has a total length of around 21 km., it is composed of cut and cover tunnels, viaducts using CIP, PCB, PSM and BCM methodologies, five (5) elevated stations, one (1) shallow underground stations and four (4) park and ride buildings. The project team is basically composed of CJV (structures), TJV (trackworks) & TSY (systems). Project management and scheduling tools used is Primavera P6 (Versions from releases 7, 8.1 and 8.3).
• To work and contribute in FAST Consortium as a team player.
