• Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume and potential sales for DOSM
• Supervise all banquet events to include scheduling date and time for events, menus, pricing, staffing, singing and deposit.
• Coordinate the planning and execution of all meetings, banquet and catering events.
• Solicits new and exciting clients in order to meet budgetary sales expectations
• Plan and coordinate public affairs, and communications efforts, to include public relations and community outreach
• Oversee planning and management of special corporate events and group bookings.
Responsible to meet, make introduction and ensure that all arrangement and requirements are gathered with the function host prior to function. Read and analyse Banquet event order (BEO) / Banquet Function Plan (FP) in order to gather guests requirements, determine proper set up, buffet, audio visuals, time line and also give attention to any special guest needs.
-Supervise and oversee all the duties performed by all employees of front office.
-Make sure that all employees complete their -essential tasks before leaving
-Maintain and monitor proper front office operational supplies
-Ensure accuracy of rooming lists, groups, arrivals, amenities, etc
-Great knowledge of property management systems.
-Strong judgment skills and effective and remarkable listening abilities.
-Strong experience in implementing, developing and evaluating guest service standards.
-Exceptional ability to give attention to detail.
-Ability to maintain proper mental attitude and physical stamina to deal effectively with guests, owners, employees, managements and outside contact while meeting deadlines and working under pressure
