A testing technician in the MV and HV laboratory is responsible for carrying out electrical tests in accordance with IEC standards to ensure the safety, quality, and reliability of equipment. The role includes preparing test setups, performing type, routine, and acceptance tests, and accurately recording and reporting results.

The work involves MV and HV equipment such as insulators, cables, transformers, switchgear, and other high-voltage components. Key responsibilities include conducting dielectric, insulation resistance, partial discharge, lightning impulse, and power-frequency tests, while strictly following safety procedures and laboratory regulations.
