Responsibilities & Roles:

• Reporting directly to the AGM/Head -Wholesale Banking;

• Managing the assigned portfolio to ensure risk issues are highlighted upfront in the manner prescribed in risk policies concerning worry list, EWS (Early warning System for accounts have credit facilities) or classified accounts;
• Undertaking quality reviews of credit facilities with the assigned customers portfolio for timely submission to appropriate approving authority;
• Monitoring and controlling the process of credit facilities and ensuring accurate documentation and process as per the bank’s policies and procedures;
• Responsible for the management and marketing of corporate & commercial services to existing and potential clients in the assigned markets as being the primary point of customer contact.
• Responsible for directing the identification of portfolio risks and the appropriate mitigation of the same by exercising own authorities and span of responsibilities over the team;
• Responsible for the Credit Policy and Process issues including the review and development of MIS for portfolio control and monitoring;
• Plan and execute projects as directed by the Head -WB in respect of policy, process and MIS issues. These include working with Risk Analytics to co-ordinate scorecard development to make the department bookings efficient and help ensure that WB is in line with all credit policies.
• Monitoring and controlling the sale performance of the Relationship officers and tracking progress against business targets to ensure their achievement;
• Supervising, guiding, directing and training subordinates to exhibit high performance levels and to work effectively together as a team;
• Risk & Compliance: Ensuring full compliance with the bank’s policies and procedures;
• Member of the Credit Policy Committee, where the committee reviews the policies of the department on yearly basis and advises on any changes if required.
