Supports in carrying out routine link provision, preventive maintenance & fault rectification
tasks in respect of the assigned Core and Access Network elements.
• Handle Fixed Network Operation & Maintenance activities including optical/electrical
circuit Provision, Re-routing & Network failures due to traffic & Hardware.
• Perform installation of fiber optic equipment and ODF patch panels.
• Experience in Transmission technology & equipment's including SDH.
• Attends and clears faults reported by NOC's related transmission network using analyzer,
light source & Power meter.
• OTDR testing for locating FO cable faults and during cable outages.
• Support maintenance activities like acceptance testing (ATP, ACL etc.) of new FO Cables
& network nodes.
• Responsible for installing and commissioning the systems like UPS (up to 500 KVA), Voltage Regulators, Frequency Converters, Stabilizers.
• Install update, Manage and Maintains UPS Software systems.
• Maintains, monitoring the systems and make the tests when they required.
• Perform troubleshooting and problem identification.
• Generate technical reports and detailing services provided, Corrective actions taken.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Analyze and study the contract projects, scope of work and construction drawings.
• Coordinating with subcontractor regarding manpower and equipment supply.
• Supervising field installation activities.
• Solving erection difficulties and inspecting whether the project standards are
achieved according to the standards.
• Report the project status and progress on a daily basis.
• Participate in customer weekly progress meeting and address the progress and
status.
