I am in charge of managing all the content for the departments business soft skills and practice management courses, both within the structured academies and through advertised one-off sessions and online.
My role includes developing training manuals, presentations, lessons plans and online courses for all soft skills disciplines.
I manage the relationship between the subject matter experts, trainers and the Instructional Design team to ensure that training runs smoothly within department outcomes.
I am also pioneering our gamification efforts and I am currently piloting a project to the graduate Financial Advisors.
I own and run the luxury lifestyle website, Complete Disbelief. I manage the website in it’s entirety including the management of the website, content production and Social Media management. Complete Disbelief has been featured in many South African publications and I have worked with countless FMCG and lifestyle brands through the website.
I manage the site using Wordpress and the cPanel. I install and edit relevant themes and develop any necessary graphics.
I conduct community management of the Social Media channels including Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr and Instagram.
I managed the Moodle Migration project, the aim of the project was to develop a tool that would make the migration of content from Moodle to Sakai simple. I developed specifications for the tool in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders and participated in the QA and development processes of the tool The migration did not take place, but the tool was invaluable for users who volunteered to move to Sakai.
Assisted in the management of the Skills Zone project. The Skills Zone project provided foundation phase content to students at the university for free. This assisted with the Goals of the unit by up-skilling students through Sakai. I participated in the bug tracking and quality assurance process, leading to the site being available to all students at WITS.
I prepared and edited training materials for workshops and assisted with development of FAQ documentation and Help Guides.
I developed and maintained working relationships with multiple stakeholders across the University including lecturers, students and support staff.
I conducted group and one-on-one training sessions for students and lecturers (between 10 and 300 students) for the online anti-plagiarism platform, WebCT and Sakai and Basic Computer Literacy.
I dealt with 2nd level (escalated from 1st level) student and lecturer support issues.
Conducted technology reviews and wrote articles for GirlGuides.
Conducted technology reviews and wrote articles for Gearburn.
Assisted the Instructional Design team with student training.
Provided basic 1st level student and lecturer help desk support.
Completed a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing Management.
