The Plant comprises of 2 nos of Gas Turbine generating units (GE model: PG-9171 E) supplied by BHEL, India with Gas Booster compressor station and other auxiliaries, commissioned in 2010 under EGCB.
Served as Project Director, Siddhirganj 2 X 150 MW Peaking Power Plant Project under the financing of IDA. Actively contributed towards (a) preparation of the ‘EPC Bid documents’ and completed the bid evaluations of the bid proposals of the Bidders (b) Preparation of the ‘Operation & maintenance bidding documents’ for selection of an O & M service provider for the Power Plant units under EGCB.
Entrusted with the responsibilities of Manager (Procurement) under Electricity Generation Company of Bangladesh (EGCB) Ltd,
Manager (Procurement) EGCB has to play a vital role in the procurement process of Consultancy services and turn-key contracts of the power generation projects. The main tasks are (a) preparation of EPC Tender document for Power Plant projects (b) preparation of RFP document for engagement of Consulting services (c) Evaluation of Proposals (d) Finalization of Contract document.

the Directorate of Design & Inspection-1 under Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB), Scope of duties & responsibilities in brief were as follows:
Performed the feasibility study and detail engineering (selection of plant configuration, Unit sizes & control scheme, etc.) of power plant projects and prepare the tender documents based on the feasibility study, Power System Master Plan (PSMP) Study and Procurement guidelines of Government of Bangladesh and funding agencies.
Prepared the EPC Tender document for Power Plant projects and evaluate the technical proposals of the participating bidders in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the tender documents.
Prepared the consulting services (RFP) documents to appoint consultants’ and evaluate the proposals of the participating Consulting Firm (a) to carry out Feasibility study for upcoming power plant projects b) to supervise the work of Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) contractors during implementation stages of the development projects.
Finalization of Contract document of Turnkey Power Plant Projects based on Tender document / Tender proposal / clarification / negotiation meetings with the representatives of BPDB and Contractors / Consultants for successful implementation of a project.
Prepared the specification of spares of different power projects and initiate the process of tendering & subsequent procurement of such spares.
Worked as a member of Acceptance Committee to supervise the testing & commissioning activities of new power plants.
