The Applied Science Private University (University of All Arabs) belongs to The Arab International for Education and Investment (AIEI). It is located at the region of Shafa Badran, within the boundry of Greater Amman Muinicipality, on a land of (356) dunam area. Education at the university commenced on 19 / 10 / 1991, after obtaining the lisence on 10 / 7 / 1989. The number of students who were registeredat that time reached (355) students. The number of faculties was only three, namely: the Faculty of Art, the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Economics, with only (14) majors included. After a quarter of a century from its launching,the university is proud to encompass eight faculties, namely: the Art & Humanities, Law, Economics & Administrative Sciences, Engineering, Pharmacy, Art & Design , Nursing, andInformation Technology. The university also includes the Deanship of Graduate Studies & Research, and the Deanship of Student Affairs. The number of majors studied at these faculties at the undergraduate level mounts to 27. As for the Master’s programmes, it include: Accounting, Marketing, International Relations & Diplomatic Studies, Pharmaceutical Studies, Computer Science, Nursing,Finance and Risk Management. The university hosts within its campus around (7000) male and female students, from about (53) local, Arab, Muslim, and Foreign countries. The university also provides for its students and the community training courses, which link theory to practice, arranged by the Center of Studies, Consultationand Community Service in cooperation with prestigious international training centers. The academic power of the university is brought by embracing a constellation of competent faculty members; who had graduated from local, Arab, and foreign univarsities, of high and distinct scientific reputation. For this academic year 2016/2017, the faculty members reached (268) members, out of whom (197) are PhD holders. The built up areas of the University shared by nine academic buildings: the Presidency and Registration building, the University Public Library building that contains a balance, of scientific and literary books, that exceeds 128 thousand books; a high percentage of which are scientific books in English and of latest editions. In addition, there are the Deanship of Student Affairs (Activity Complex) building, an Animal House, a warehouse for Hazardous Materials, a Conference Hall that can accommodate (700) persons, an Olympic Football Stadium that can accommodate (15) thousand persons - where nationwide football matches and major celebrations are held - and a roofed Sports hall (Al-Hussein Sports Complex) that accommodates (7) thousand persons - on mobile stadium seats - and, besides, there are vending points, spread around the University faculties and facilities. There are, as well, playgrounds and open areas to play tennis, football, volleyball, and basketball, beside the existing activities at the Activity Complex, such as bowling, billiards, martial arts, body building, steam bathing and sauna. The University had paid tribute to this expansion by providing science laboratories, workshops and drawing galleries, that mount up to more than (161) units, in addition to a herb museum, at the Faculty of Pharmacy. Other facilities on campus are: a mosque, an Arab Bank branch, a post office and a bookshop, where stationary and books are sold. The University is linked, with the various areas of the Capital and a number of major cities, in the Kingdom, by a transportation network; as it owns a fleet of about (70) buses, which are to serve the students in return of nominal fare per term. Since its beginning and up to now, (22) regiments graduated from the University, i.e. more than 31939 male and female students from various faculties and disciplines. The Applied Science Private University was the first university, in the region, that acquires the International Organization for Standardization ISO 9001: 2008
