• Taking charge of all logistic requirements for the assigned conference
• Sourcing different venues in the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Turkey regions and liaising directly with them to ensure all the requirements of the conference have been fulfilled
• Sourcing new suppliers in the respective regions (audio-visual companies, designers, printing houses) and maintaining relationships with them in order to get the best available rates
• Solely in charge of creating the onsite collateral for the assigned conference
• Handling the assigned conference budget and costs as well as overseeing budgets for all conferences making sure the costs stay low
• Supervising and managing delegate, speaker and sponsor registration on the day of the event
• Liaising with the various sponsors for the assigned event to ensure that all that has been promised in the contract has been fulfilled
• Creating the floor plan for the ballroom (for the hotel) as well as the floor plan for the exhibition area (for the sponsors)
• Communicating all conference related information to other individuals/departments involved in the assigned event
• Managing the team when required
• Worked on various events including: District Cooling 2010, Qatar Projects 2011, Middle East Aluminium 2011, Arabian Hotel Investment Conference 2011, Arabian World Construction Summit 2011, Qatar Transport 2011, Project Finance 2012, Middle East Petrochemicals 2012, Arabian Hotel Investment Conference 2012, Qatar Stadium 2012, Oman Investment Forum 2012, MENA Rail Projects 2012, The Abu Dhabi Conference 2012 and Middle East Project Finance 2013.
