The job role carried the following responsibilities; managing restaurant bookings, customer orders, induction training for new waiting staff, handling customer accounts, liaise with kitchen staff, maintaining a safe and healthy environment in line with hygiene standards and procedures. Build customer relations and ensure consistency of standards in order to build and establish a high reputation.
2005 - 2009: The Travelling Gourmet, Stockport, UK, Front of House Hostess
A Cheshire based catering and Events Company. Working front of house at events ranging from special occasions such as weddings to corporate events i.e. seminars and presentations. Responsibilities included coordinating and setting up venues i.e. bespoke table arrangement and decor. Maintain communications between the service/kitchen staff to meet the clientele expectations.
