Tasks
1. Working on Data Management System:
• reviews all data every day from all partners

• interprets and analyses statistical reports according to project indicators.
• develops user manuals for data clerks and other related staff.
• supports developing Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) as needed.

• trains data clerks in using the data entry tool
• trains project officers in using the data monitor tool

3. Technical Support and Troubleshooting of Data Management System:

• Sends requests from projects regarding changes in the data management system to component manager of unit

Senior Information management Officer at ACTED

1. End-to-End design and implementation of Information Management Strategy for the AME department and support project managers in developing the Information Management Strategy within their projects:
1.1. Work with Senior AME officer to:
1.1.1. Understand reporting needs and optimize the steps from data collection to report creation
1.1.2. Brainstorm and develop additional reports
1.2. Continually review measures of impact and statistical components of information management and reporting

2. Data Collection Planning and Management:
2.1. Train the AME monitor and data collectors on the tools prior data collection.

3.2. Data cleaning, translation and analysis for all activities under the AME department with the support for the data collection and data entry when needed.
3.3. Create a user-friendly Structured Query Language (SQL) environment for the Senior Area AME Officer and project managers to easily access data summaries and create reports

3.5. Using QGIS to publish GPoint on Maps.
4. Reporting
4.1.1. Write comprehensive and qualitative reports from analyzed data.
4.2. Ad-Hoc Report Requests
4.2.1. Creating reports, databases, or analyses as per request of the AME department of the base based on any databases

Under the supervision of the Hygiene Promotion and Community Mobilization Program Manager, the Senior Data Entry Officer is responsible for ensuring that the hygiene promotion and community mobilization teams have accurate data records in soft copy. S/he is responsible for preparing reports for team managers, the project development department and donors describing the work of the team. S/he will also be responsible for transferring paper forms to electronic data collection system such as ODK and ensuring that data is being captured systematically via such systems. The Senior Data Entry Officer will also be asked to do some basic data analysis and report on trends in data over time.

Data Entry Operator
Under the supervision of Hygiene Promotion Manager, the Data Entry is responsible for accurate and efficient data base from the data collected from the field activities. The Data Entry supports the Hygiene Promotion Manager in data collection, data monitoring, supporting Hygiene Promotion team in terms of delivering high quality outputs. The Data Entry is also responsible for a good organization of the archives and the correct data reporting of the project achievement.
FUNCTIONS
1.Data processing and management:
•To enter all data and figures as needed in a consistent, accurate and efficient manner
•To provide Hygiene Promotion units with data outputs upon request
•To develop and maintain up to date databases as required
•To collect all documents needed for the databases and enter each beneficiary into project database
2.Project support:
•To support with data entry as required
•To support with data analysis and reporting when called upon
•To support with surveying of beneficiaries and others when needed
•To process data and information from field - in particular ensure quality, consistency, accuracy, truthfulness, comprehensiveness of all distribution data
•To prepare all other report upon request by the Hygiene Promotion Manager
•To check the beneficiaries information’s on UNHCR(RAIS)
•Provide any support for the good functioning of ACTED whenever requested by ACTED management

3.Filling:
•To ensure the up to date files are maintained
•To perform accurate filling of all processed documents, monthly consolidated filling of key project documents in his/her area office
4.Reporting / communication
•Communicates with the Hygiene Promotion Manager and relevant staff for any difficulty linked to his/ her tasks, to ACTED intervention or to security situation and proposes possible solutions
•Respects ACTED security procedures and ensures these procedures are set-up and respected in the site by all ACTED staff members
•Communicates with local authorities, UN agencies, NGOs and CBOs working in the site according to ACTED policies
