(A) Assists the Field Procurement and logistics Officer in planning, organizing, recruiting, monitoring and controlling the Logistics Department to support the Programmes and Projects.
(B) Is responsible for the bi-annual budget preparation and the various daily expenditures on vehicles and warehouses operations.
(C) Is responsible for the daily supervision of the overall operation activities executed inside the medical and supplies warehouses, garage, and vehicle dispatching sections.
(D) Is responsible to propose logistical plans and budgets for projects and relief operations. Currently engaged in the PRS relief operations.
(E) Provides technical inputs in the process of fleet procurement and their written off procedures.
(F) Supervises and monitors the fleet movement and ensure that vehicles are utilized effectively and efficiently. Monthly reports are prepared with statistics on cost and usage.
(G) Supervise the operation of Agency’s warehouses and its related functions in storage, issue and distribution of supplies and equipment by the Field. Ensure adequate storage space is available inside to accommodate various supplies among them the current medical, food and NFI’s to PRS.
(H) Supervises the operation and maintenance of the transport fleet and related machinery and equipment.
(I) Carries out periodic reviews and preliminary market surveys on all major service contracts for fleet spare parts, portage services, transportation services, etc., and collecting relevant data for review of contract proposals.
(J) Coordinates with and provides technical advice and support on logistics matters to other departments and UN bodies.
