Main contributions: 1- Active member in "Basel II implementation project" task force.
2- Set FNB credit policies & procedures. Policy was internally set, to fit FNB culture needs and requirements.
3- A main contributor in the on - job training of the credit relationship officers. Following the issuance of the new credit policy and procedures duly approved by the Board, I was assigned as Head of Credit Review Unit which main function is to review and control the credit activity at FNB. Daily coordination with the relationship units (corporate & SME) enhanced credit control, and improved the quality of input of the credit applications submitted by the officers.
4- Headed the Credit Administration Unit for 6 months period, identified the gaps and set the needed action plan to re-organize the department and improve its productivity and efficiency.
5- Headed FICB department, created new policy and procedures to process financial institutions and correspondents transactions, re-organized banks' files, set a new credit application for banks, introduced banks' financial analysis, introduced new way of analyzing business volume with correspondents.
