Position: Manager of maintenance and Facility department
Type of production: Sandwich panel factory (mineral wool and PU/PIR) I came In Trimo in the construction phase of the factory. The main tasks during this period, was fitting introduction to the factory plant equipment and supervising of assembly. Ensuring attest and certificates in accordance with the law.
As Manager of Maintenance Sector, I am responsible for the functional correctness of the production lines in all areas: mechanical, electrical, energy, introduction and improvement of existing standards and procedures.
List of my priority tasks and responsibilities that I successfully carried out was:
- Preventive maintenance and troubleshooting as soon as possible
- Lean production (never-ending efforts to eliminate or reduce waste or bad activity which don’t add value)
- Processes planning in maintenance and production, organizing and implementing
- Provide guidance for implementation of preventive and scheduled, maintenance activities
- Introduction of ISO standards in technical sector (maintenance and production ). En 14509, ISO 9001
- Takes significant role in process of the production and equipment improvement
- Revision, improving, calibrating and attesting of technical equipment and updating of documentation
- Takes role in standardization, internal audit. preparation and adoption of the factory quality manual
- Organization and manage of the technical personnel and the establishment of workshops and workspace
- Organize and manage, evaluation of spare parts. Warehousing with optimized quantities of spare parts - Procurement of spare parts and new equipment and contracting work with external subcontractors
- Budgeting. cost monitoring, analyzing and statistics. Creating reports and optimization
- Purchase of new of vehicles budgeting and cost monitoring, regular maintenance and repairs.
- In the field of facility management my responsibility was: with existing team of technicians and selected subcontractors maintain the condition of the facilities at the highest level. Trimo owned about 7000 m² industrial and office space
- One of my biggest challenge was forming a team : with fastest possibility for reaction in the case of technical problems ( mechanical, electrical hydraulics and pneumatics PLC-computers and sensors HVAC, plumbing ... ) that team was on duty 24/7 . My task was to establish, organise, educate, equipped and at the end, take leading position and biggest responsibility for every action
As the manager of technical inspection, I was responsible to take care of proper functioning of department (by law regulations, and proper and safe use of equipment and various tools).I also participated in the establishment of laboratories for testing of vehicles and the introduction of ISO standards in checking vehicles.
List of my priority tasks and responsibilities was:
- Organizations of work in the department and leading a team of technicians
- Studying of legal regulations and their implementation in the department
- Assessment of the technical correctness of used vehicles
- Fleet Management for other companies (service, travel orders, periodic reviews, suggestions for repairs)
- Creating different types of reports (legal, transportation, budgeting)
- Assessment vehicle conditions and cost estimates for the purchase of new vehicles
- Assessment of damaged of vehicles and proposals for repair
- Verification test certificate for LPG and periodical checking
Type of production: PVC, PU, bitumen, polystyrene and Rubber processing and manufacturing of foils
I started my career as a maintenance technician (1994-1995) since then I started to get practical experience.
Junior engineer(1995-1998) that position included monitoring of working conditions of the production line, making improvements and development where it was possible, general repair works, procurement of spare parts. In addition, I was in charge of facility management in the field of HVAC, plumbing and building maintenance offices space
Maintenance chief engineer 1999-2004 This position is implied work (24/7) leading and organize, team of maintenance and production. The last four years, I was duty shift engineer in this part of the work including a complete production management (I, II, III shift). On that position, I had to remove any delay as soon as possible, regardless of the type of the delay (mechanical, electrical, thermo energetic).I quite successfully performed that part of my charges. Also I solved many problems that arose in production. Thanks to my observations and analysis, maintenance department was very successful in preparing current and investment maintenance. During my work in Grmec I dealt with following types of machinery: twin rollers, plane and laminating calendar lines, extruders, different types of mixing machines and all other machinery necessary for this kind of production. Also, I worked on relocation of production facilities and equipment and building, placing, assembling and start up of new processes and facilities.
