Project Management
• Overall management of the Programme and leading Project Staff to achieve desired project objectives in accordance with agreements and documentation.
• Oversee the implementation of the project in the field and monitor the progress on a regular basis.
• Conduct regular project team meetings with Project Officer / Community Mobilization Officers and Monitoring Officer to review and monitor the progress of the project.
• To update and share project progress to management and donor
• To coordinate and provide facilitation to team in accordance with donor guidelines.
• To ensure that Project Staff prepares fortnightly, monthly and quarterly plan to achieve project targets.
• Take decisions on the feedback of M&E to ensure Programme quality.
Financial & Grant Management
• To ensure the effective and efficient use of all project resources;
• To work with finance staff to ensure that project accounting and financial systems is place in accordance with project financial guidelines.
• To monitor project spending against planned activities on monthly basis and take action to adjust spending accordingly
• Act as signatory to spending for the project as per organizational guidelines, responsible for countersigning the Cheques and expenses of the project as per defined limit
• Submit financial reports to donor and CEO on monthly basis.
Project documentation and reporting
• Develop and implement an effective and efficient reporting system at the field level.
• Share/disseminate best practices and lessons learned from the project internally and externally with the support of M&E officer.
• Ensure documentation of the project and identified areas and activities for detailed documentation and dissemination.
Personnel management
• To ensure that all project staff comply with AWS Safe Guarding Policy.
• To participate in the recruitment of project personnel in accordance with standard HR policies and procedures.
• To lead, manage and motivate the project team, ensuring that they have clear performance objectives and receive meaningful feedback on their performance on a regular basis.
• To create an atmosphere that induces open communication and maximizes skills/experience sharing among the team members.
• To identify staff development opportunities, as per Programme needs.
Representation:
• To represent the project and organization at different form policy forums in Pakistan as agreed with the donor.
• To coordinate and liaise with the district government, NGOs, Civil Society organizations and other agencies.
