Response about leading team of operation & maintenance to operate combined cycle power plant produce 4100 MW
maintenance manager in power plant ( IPP ) consider as the biggest combined cycle power plant worldwide , I response to manage all maintenance activities in this plant including daily activities, budget, HR, HSE & contract. Also monitor maintenance performance to keep all job within plant KPI.
I works as technical support manager & lead Four sections ( engineering, maintenance planning & materials, supply chain, plant budget, service engineering, quality & inspection ) I lead these sections to provide these services to the plant Operation & Maintenance Divisions and supervision all contractors activities and coordinate with SEC HQ to provide all their requirements
Worked as maintenance manager in combined cycle plant. Where we have 10 steam turbines & 40 gas turbines. I supervise on all maintenance activities like daily troubleshooting, annually GTs outage including CI, HGP& major inspection, borescope inspection for the GTs including compressors HGP& bearings. Also I’ve prepared a preventive maintenance plans for all rotating equipment in my plant. Also I provide the technical support for the plant and train the new engineers on the plants systems
I was the representative of my department in the project of executing plant maintenance program in SAP system under supervision of company vice president. In this project we configure all plant equipments to SAP system and this include preparing maintenance plan with spare parts requirement and train the employees on the SAP system
I have worked as: 1- Mechanical maintenance section head. In this section I was supervising for the work of 62 employees where we did the troubleshooting activities for the plant and perform all types of maintenance activities( CI, HGP and Major) for 34 gas turbine with the plant auxiliaries . 2- Plant quality advisor (I did two improvement chances. One in the maintenance and another in the safety.)
I have worked as maintenance and material planning group leader for 34 gas turbine and providing technical support for operation and maintenance. In addition I worked as maintenance supervisor for 14 gas turbine.
I have worked as mechanical engineer group leader in power plant projects. In that period we have Installed four gas turbine (GE frame 7FA) where I have participated in the following activities: 1- Write the scope of works. 2- supervision the Pre-commissioning, commissioning activities. 3- Supervising on Installation of four gas turbine until start up. 4- Prepare the PM plan for these units. 5- Prepare the spare parts consumables list. 5- Prepare the maintenance tools requirement. 6- Prepare the project punch list. 7- Arrange the tasks between the plant sections (mechanical, electrical and instrument). 8- Inspect all spare parts of the project. 9- Supervising on the mechanical issue with the contractor (GE) for warranty and guaranty items. 10- Working as a monitor for long service contract with GE. In addition I worked as maintenance supervisor for 10 gas turbine.
• I worked with Saudi ARAMCO in project management of oil department for KHURSANIYAH PROJECT ( this project is a mega project and The Khursaniyah Program consists of facilities to produce 500, 000 bpd of oil, 450, 000 bpd of injection water, 1 billion cubic feet of gas and 300, 000 bpd of NGL. The project also includes utilities, treatment facilities and cogeneration units. It encompasses more than 140 oil and water wells. I am responsible for the rotating equipments as precommissioning manager. We arranged the project activities with the main contractor for this project. The activities such as : lube oil flushing, motor solo run test, start up the plant and Solving problems that occur on the project before handing it over to the proponent ( Aramco operation) .
I have worked with king Saud University in its power plant as mechanical engineer. The plant consist of 4 gas turbines (total capacity 64 MW), 7 chillers (total capacity 35, 000 Ton), 6 boilers (total capacity 181.5 Ton). In addition I worked in some projects for Department Projects at the University.
