Management:
1- Managing an Accounts payables team of 10 people within other Finance Shared Services functions.
2- Reviewing commercial contracts and securing optimal financial terms to drive optimal ROI.
3- Maintaining a robust system of internal controls and segregation of duties in accordance with Group policies.
4- Monitoring KPIs for the Finance functions on daily and monthly basis and participating in staff evaluation.
5- Supporting commercial departments, influencing behaviors and performance through insights of key drivers and trends.

Accounting:
1- Performing monthly and annual closing for payables, accruals, barter deals, rebates and inter-company recharges.
2- Monitoring efficiency of booking suppliers’ invoices and insuring compliance with Group policies, VAT and taxation laws.
3- Reviewing and ensuring that suppliers’ payments are processed in accordance with the contractual commitments.
4- Reviewing and validating accounting of purchase requisitions for: OPEX, CAPEX and projects.
5- Maintaining fixed assets register and reviewing depreciation recharges to projects.
6- Leading the assessment and application project of IFRS 16 including the bookkeeping process

Budgeting & Reporting:
1- Playing an essential role in preparing the departmental annual budget, projections for OPEX & CAPEX and cash flow projections.
2- Preparing monthly and annual financial reports (i.e.: P&L analyzed with budget, Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, Cash flow, Taxes).
3- Preparing projects report (i.e.: Actual Cost Vs. Budget; analyzed as per percentage of completion and cost trend analysis).
4- Preparing insightful reports & analysis to support management decision making.

Projects
1- Leading IFRS 16 assessment and application project across all subsidiaries (UAE, KSA, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan & Cyprus)
2- Managing application of Accounts Payable Paperless Process
3- Managing Oracle Fusion Migration
