• To analyze machine breakdowns, identify root causes and initiate corrective and preventive actions and ensure minimal downtime.
• To attend toolbox meeting during every change of shift and ensure adequate information is passed on work completion.
• To attend, manage and direct team members to any machine breakdown in the mechanical, Hydraulics, Pneumatics and electrical areas and ensure minimal loss of production time.
• To assist supervisor in implementing, developing and maintaining maintenance procedures in adherence with management policies and ISO.
• To coordinate and integrate the maintenance activities of technicians engaged in maintaining and troubleshooting production equipment and to inspect defective parts and suggest to repair or replace.
• To update all production log sheets and documents daily and ensure they are easily retrievable and traceable whenever required.
• Hands on experience in machine change overs to run different size and shape products as per production plan and get the product quality approval to run the production.
• Experience in handling progressive, combination and compound press tools and dies used in Can ends making process.
• To perform tool adjustments to improve product performance quality.
• To conduct OJT to sub-ordinates and share the knowledge of Can ends making process and machine troubleshooting.
• Hands on experience of working on PLC controlled High speed - Shell Presses, Compound Liners and Conversions Presses.
• Basic knowledge in ISO 9001:2015, OHSAS, FSMS and HACCP standards.
• Good understanding and Knowledge of mechanical systems, Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems.
• Good ability to read and understand mechanical designs, drawings and schematic diagrams.
• Basic understanding of PLC controls.
• Basic knowledge in electrical troubleshooting.
• Intermediate level of Experience in using BAAN software.
• Mechanical CAD - AutoCAD, CATIA
Proficiency level - Intermediate.
• Computer - MS word, Excel, Power point, Outlook
Proficiency level - Excellent.

• To oversee assembly line and ensure availability of resources for optimum production.
• Assigning day-to-day activities for production team in coordination with production supervisor.
• To provide training to new employees in areas of production assembly line and quality.
• To perform product testing using pneumatic, hydraulic and electro magnetic power in coordination with quality team and get product approval.
• Preparing and maintaining production records for each batch production.
• To oversee machine shop operations for inhouse job.
