• Develop opportunities of sales and services in the field of Process & Power Generation, Refinery Industries. Support the development of new accounts, identifying potential sales opportunities and value proposition.
• Receive the RFQ, understand it, distributing/coordinating the work to be done by several departments (SCM, legal, CRED, etc) and collect/launch the right inputs about the RFQ/opportunities to the rest of the sales group.
• Follow up on offers issued, updates awarding chances on offers system, keeping the info flowing between region and HQ.
• Follow up on day to day issues related to order booked and under execution. Liaison between all parties involved in the business process, with the customer and the specific team in contact with the plant or logistic dept, etc.
• Participate on the periodical meetings of coordination with SCM, helping to define the priorities and to follow up on day to day issues.
• Analyze the impact of management proposals (price, deliveries, etc) on the contribution/risk of the specific business and validate its convenience to the organization.
• Sell and comply with the Volume, Prices and Gross Margin targets under responsibility. Properly anticipate and forecast the results of area of competence and make proposal to improve results.
• Market intelligence: Challenge branches and push to collect feedback from tender results, distributing competition info to the rest of the organization.
ORDER EXECUTION MANAGEMENT: - Ensure timely and proactive OCTG orders follow up with special attention to key accounts - Support & Monitor Order operativeness - delay reason - Alert Critical items delay, Vessel Nomination, Support on Shipping documents to customers. - Monitor & Support overdue collection and internal alert MANAGEMENT CONTROL: Manage & monitor Control tools for the following: - Regional Compliance & OTD (On Time Delivery) - Invoicing Projection of the shipments - KPIs (Key Performance Indicator): for Clients Order Status reports & Claims management - Issuing Reports to address critical issues. PROCESS IMPROVEMENT & LEADERSHIP: - Ensure continuous improvement on Processes, Reports, Existing tools being utilized. - Enhance Efficiency & Effectiveness of the functions across the organization and develop direct subordinates/Reporting team.
• Responsible for receiving OCTG RFQ (Request For Quotation)/Tenders, analyzing it, coordinating the work to be done by several departments (Supply Chain, legal, Credit, Production, etc) and launch the right inputs about the RFQ/opportunities to the rest of the sales group. • Propose action plans (product strategy, price, deliveries) to offer against Tender/RFQ, ensuring the contract requirements are being achieved and secure the purchase order. • Lead and support the re-negotiations, meetings or clarifications required by a customer through the regional branches. • Develop opportunities of sales and services and support the development of new accounts, identifying potential sales opportunities and value proposition. • Market intelligence: Push branches and challenge to gather tender results and feedback, so to analyze for upcoming tenders and offers. • Comply with the Volume, Prices and Gross Margin targets under responsibility. Properly anticipate and forecast the results of area of competence and make proposal to improve results. • Analyze the impact of management proposals (price, deliveries) on the contribution/risk of the specific business and validate its convenience to the organization. • Ensures compliance with Company policies and management standards as well as adherence to SOX regulations in areas under responsibility. • Among markets covered but not limited to: Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, UAE, Qatar.
