• Updated Health Safety and Environmental Management System of Greater Nile Petroleum Operating Company in 2015 and 2B OPCO Company in 2019.
• Maintain a wide range of internal contacts (from individual to Presidents) and (external contacts from other companies to government authorities) required to ensure compliance HSE standards and implementation of performance improvement measures.
• Looking after Health Safety and Environmental Management System of Greater Nile Petroleum Operating Company; a joined venture of CNPC, PETRONAS and ONGC.
• Responsible for ensuring implementation and to oversee the HSE function to create and sustain a productive work culture and safe work environment in order to avoid and minimize HSE related impacts/ problems.

• To direct and coordinate the assigned personnel to ensure that the HSE activities are in line with the company's requirements.
• Carry out regular planned HSE Audits and Management Inspections.
• To develop and ensure effective implementation of the HSE Management System by line management.
• Achieved filed vehicle accident accidents fatality to zero by implementing Transport Management System.
• To provide technical expertise on all aspect of HSE management considering Shareholders HSE experience and requirement.
• To provide professional advice and support for HSE staff.
• To formulate HSE goals, objectives and targets; develop both short and long term action plans to achieve them.
• Experience of delivering HSE business priorities at a senior leadership level.
• Experience of leading incident investigations and undertaking risk assessments.
• Experience of change management and introducing improvement to process and ways of working.
• The local culture and public opinion is becoming increasingly aware of HSE issues and this requires balancing of the long-term cost of HSE polices with the benefits in term of reduced HSE risks.
