Scheduling and following the lab analysis (chemical,
microbiological and physical) to be done in time and in a
discipline systematic manner
• Recording results on SAP and giving release
• Dealing with incoming raw materials and packaging materials'
issues including OOS in deliveries and production complaints
after receiving
• Reviewing, editing and ensuring full implementation of SOP’s
and preparation for external and internal audits
• Meeting and communicating with the suppliers to discuss
consignments defects
• Meeting lab tools suppliers to discuss offers
• Revising the packaging material rough draft for text for new and
edited current SKU’s before proceeding
• Monitoring and ensuring that the sufficient equipment and
chemicals are available within stock
• Conducting internal quality and food safety audits on plant
departments as a member of the audit team
• Communication with internal departments; purchasing,
marketing and planning, and external suppliers concerning lab
issues.
• Ensuring the implementation of lab calibration plan
• Represent the laboratory in the plant morning meeting
• Preparing a monthly supplier evaluation
• Preparing a monthly lab results report to top management
• Training lab technicians
