•selecting appropriate locations, pictures and sound and exercising editorial judgement on the best angle to approach a story
•providing directorial input, advising crews on what to film or record
•preparing and presenting material 'on air' for both pre-recorded and live pieces
•identifying potential interviewees, briefing them, preparing interview questions and conducting both live and recorded interviews
•deciding on the running order for bulletins and making any necessary changes during broadcast
•developing and maintaining local contacts and assuming a public relations role
•Understanding and complying with media law and industry codes of conduct

I have worked as Guest Faculty with the institute for a long time. My responsibility was to teach students about modern Journalism, Changing trends in television Journalism and Content writing. Weekly i use to take four classes. Each class use to have 40 students at a time. Here i was also responsible for their personality development, writing skill development and developing their anchoring skills. After shifting to Delhi i still continue to visit yearly twice to attain special classes and conference media-communication at Kolkata, conducted by National Institute of Television Studies.

It was a partnership venture between me and an-other partner. We use to make Advertising and also responsible for Non- Fiction program for three leading Satellite Channel of West Bengal.
