Manager, Advisory Services - Human Capital Advisory at Ernst & Young, Doha and Kuwait
  • Qatar - Doha
  • June 2009 to June 2013

My journey through Ernst & Young has not only taught me to value business requirements and under critical problems faced by business leaders during their day to day journey. But it has also taught me the art of successful project management. Project Management which not only encompasses delivering satisfactory work products to clients but also includes, managing a multicultural team, uncharted expectations and unwanted surprises.
Travelling this journey and growing with the organization, I have successfully managed projects delivering:

HR Transformation projects, Identifying and harmonizing structural and policy changes to Human Resource department, it activities, policies, procedures, Service Level Agreements (SLA's) and value chain are restructured to suit changing business needs.
Similarly, I have also carried our multiple projects to streamline 'Pay for Performance'culture; designing and implementing complete solutions on performance management system and linking reward to performance. Through similar projects, I have engaged with HR Leaders in understanding their Compensation and benefit structural issues. Benchmarking their current practices with a peer group in one or many markets and designing revised structures that would help them attract and retain the best talent.
On multiple occasions, I have worked closely with HR leaders to develop their Executive Management compensation and strategic reward plan. Balancing the right mix of fixed to variable pay structure and designing risk based deferred payment modules.
Apart from the above, I have also worked on many occasions to develop Integrated Talent Management Frameworks (ITMFW), developing competency databanks and linking them to performance management and training & development processes.

Non-Chartedly, I have also successfully completed some HR Due Diligence projects, identifying critical integration issues in a Merger and Acquisition scenario and also helping with Post Merger Structuring and D-1 planning.

I had been based with Ernst & Young in both Doha, Qatar and Kuwait serving clients in multiple locations throughout GCC.
