System Administrator for the whole IT infrastructure
This role requires me to handle IT operations from strategy to implementation involving requirement analysis, scheduling, tracking, system study, designing, Implementation, configuring, testing, de-bugging, security and troubleshooting.

The most importantly I am also one of the active members of the Rotana Group ICT Project which includes Routing & Switching, IP Telephony, Wireless Network and Network Security. Rotana ICT Project scope of work includes the following,
Design and Deployment of entire IP network, Implement IP Telephone System, Wireless Network and Perimeter Security System, Implement Wireless Networks in three floors of Rotana Bahrain Office.
Infrastructure is built in the 6th floor of Bahrain world trade centre, and the ICT Services are available in all floors situated in 6th, 7th and 8th floor, Remote users are connected to the infrastructure via Cisco and Citrix VPN.
The other main acheivements with Rotana are the following
• Successfully integrated GFI Mail Essentials anti-spam services into company’s mail infrastructure, which dramatically decreased the number of spam mails
• Cisco IP Phone Configuration
• Distinction of upgrading 100 workstations from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1
• Provide all kind of Technical Support to 60 users in a corporate environment.
• Install new software, utilities, and monitoring tools.
• Successfully install new server from the scratch in a totally new hardware and added into the Domain.
• Daily routine works such as back up, checking and maintain the mail filtering policies, testing and fixing if there is any hardware/software faults, giving the L1 support to the corporate environment.
• Pivotal in maintaining nearly 100% uptime through measures such as system info, net statistics, windows task manager and uptime.exe
• Proven track record of suggesting measures such as SCCM, MDT to manage the frequency of appropriate support package/patch application
• Installing and configuring computer systems
• Installing and configuring the Cisco Phones and manage them with Cisco Call Manager
Leading operations related to IT / network infrastructure by measuring, managing, analysing, tuning & implementing necessary changes in resource utilization as per business priorities
Delivering network maintenance support and responding to outages during off-hour software deployments within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Establishing healthy relations with internal & external stakeholders to provide support for various architectural issues; keeping a close track of developments in field of IT Infrastructure and updating top management about the same
Maintaining network / application security authentication, administering secure links with public key encryption and performing file replication & script management
Identifying new technology / product for rollout & modernisation of network; analysing & tracking complex software & hardware matters regarding connectivity issues, IP addressing and routing to meet business needs
Anchoring installation, maintenance and monitoring of desktops, laptops, printers and fax
Designing back-up strategy and ensuring scheduled / unscheduled backups as per the backup plan, monitoring daily backup of Attendance Machine (Optimum)
