➢ Set achievable goals and deadlines for various projects, shipping, clearance, etc
➢ Facilitate projects and business developments initiative from the start till end of every project.
➢ Monitor various projects with respect to cost, resource deployment, productivity improvement and manpower planning.
➢ Interface with buyers for placing local and overseas orders and co-ordinate with suppliers for finalizing delivery schedule for materials and equipments.
➢ Monitor and follow up with suppliers to ensure that materials and equipments are delivered by the supplier and collected by the freight forwarder and received at the site on time.
➢ Monitor and co-ordinate with various freight forwarders, third party agencies, ports, customs, sub contractors to accelerate shipments and clearance.
➢ Interface with insurance agencies for regular declaration and reporting in case of any accidents while goods are in transit.
➢ Negotiating with customs and excise authorities for approvals with respect to import and export operations/clearance.
➢ Analyze internal processes and recommend and implement contractual procedural changes to improve operations.
➢ Plan, administer and control budgets for contracts, equipment and supplies.
➢ Prepare and review operational reports and schedules to ensure accuracy and efficiency
➢ Preparing Management reports on monthly and weekly basis as a part of MIS.
➢ Increased profitability of the company.

I work as Procurement and Supply Chain Manager from April '03 till May ' 09 and reporting to Managing Director.
